IntercityHotel Hamburg-Barmbek

Located in the north of Hamburg, close to the airport, this hotel is right next to Barmbek U-Bahn station, making public transport very convenient. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, modern facilities, and a good quality breakfast. Self-check-in is a breeze. The rooms are decorated in a German minimalist style, not huge, but they do have a kettle and a complimentary bottle of water delivered daily. Housekeeping needs to be requested in advance at the front desk.

Had a really pleasant stay, and I'd definitely consider coming back. The surrounding amenities are quite convenient too.

The hotel is quite good, suitable for business trips. The only downside is that the price is a bit high during exhibition periods. The location is good, and breakfast is also decent. Overall, I recommend it.

The room wasn't cleaned and there was no kettle. However, the location is very convenient with restaurants and supermarkets nearby!

The hotel is generally well-located, although a bit out of the way, but the U/S-Bahn station is directly opposite. The reception staff are very friendly. A clear plus point is the air conditioning, which works perfectly and was desperately needed in this weather. The room was a comfortable size and clean.

The room size was just right, and it had everything we needed! It's also conveniently located near the station. The restaurant next door was absolutely delicious.

The hotel has a good location, with many attractions and public transportation easily accessible. Unfortunately, the floor in the room wasn't clean. Room cleaning needs to be requested a day in advance and cannot be spontaneously arranged. Additionally, the beds are rather small for a hotel of this category. Overall, the location is a big plus, but there's room for improvement regarding service and cleanliness.
