The hotel is about 2.5km from the Hamilton train station. We took a taxi from the train station, and the driver charged us NZD25. My booking confirmation said that the check out time was 11:00, but the hotel insisted it should be 10:00 which is fine. The booking confirmation clearly say that breakfast was free, but the hotel tried to charge 13 pp. Hamilton is a nice place which is close to Waitomo and Hobbiton.

Easy to communicate and check in. Breakfast service started nice and early meaning we could have it before heading off. Very comfortable rooms.

The facility felt a bit old, but it seemed to be well-cleaned. There was a supermarket nearby, so it was easy to do my shopping. However, there were no eateries or restaurants, so it might be better for people who cook at home. I was also very grateful for the kind assistance they provided when I had problems, such as not being able to charge my smartphone.

Mistakenly decided...Try not to choose it..It does have a sense of age. The only advantage is that the breakfast is very cheap

It's OK. I've stayed there several times. It's an Indian-run hotel. It's clean, but there's no toothbrush. You need to bring your own.
