Mari-Anne Motel

Gary is the best!!

Room had nice counter space and a full size fridge which was amazing. Ice machine on site was amazing to have access to and the manager was very accommodating and friendly. Bedding was outdated and not very comfortable, and curtains let in a lot of light but overall the room fit our needs. Close walk to the beach and parking included was excellent.

The rooms were very clean, property well maintained other then a paint job. The staff was very helpful and parking was good. The mattress in our room where not good. The mattress need to be replaced.

We had a great stay! The atmosphere and overall vibe were really nice, and the location was even better than we expected. It's much closer to the beach and boardwalk than you would think, which made everything so convenient. The staff was wonderful, especially the person at the front desk, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The only thing I would suggest is a little more attention to the cleaning, but it wasn't anything that took away from our experience. Overall, we had a great time, and I would definitely stay here again. I'm already hoping we'll be back in the next few weeks!

We didn't have a kitchen, just a basic motel room -- bed, TV, bathroom, air conditioning, and it was quiet -- no screaming or noise from other guests. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. Nothing fancy and we didn't need "fancy." We were very pleased to be able to check in early and have a place to park the car rather than having to wait until 3:00 PM, and the manager was really nice!! This location is the furthest down the beach I've ever stayed, but everything was still within walking distance, albeit a little bit farther. For the price AND for the "luxury" of being able to book just one night instead of having to book for two nights made this place very worthwhile.

We love to stay here. It's close to the stae beach/park and within walking g distance to the boardwalk but far enough away to be quiet. Gary is great!!! The rooms are simple but clean and well maintained.

Small vintage motel in a great location! Room looked like it was recently updated and was very clean.

Bathroom sink was falling off the wall reported this to the office. Nothing none. No housekeeping. Bathroom way, way too small. To get to your room had to go through supply storage area. The room to me looked like it was furnished by tag sale items.

Small hotel on the main road, close to the beach. The building is rather old, so the floors are a bit saggy...no big deal. The hotel has adequate parking. The owner is very nice and accommodating. The place is clean. It is not fancy...it is basic. The mattresses on the bed seem to be new, but they sagged...a lot. I wouldn't want to sleep on them more than a couple nights. The owner is a prolific smoker and even though the rooms are non-smoking, the room we stayed in had that stale cigarette smell from the 1980's when smokers ruled the world. The pictures show a nice little courtyard with chairs. But you can't really use them because the traffic is 40' away and you can't hear anything else. Would I stay there again? I'm 50/50 on that. I would probably look for something a block off the main road.
