Hotel Hanamaki

The three hotels are connected and have a total of four hot springs. A shuttle bus is available to the train station and airport, but advance reservations are required. There are many scenic spots nearby, but the location is somewhat remote, and there aren't many shops nearby.

The dinner buffet was spacious, with a wide variety of delicious items. The desserts and ice cream, in particular, seemed ordinary at first glance, but the matcha financier and rose ice cream were unforgettable. As for the hot springs, all three rooms offered bathing options, adding to the fun. However, in my personal experience, the hot springs at the Momiji-kan were more varied, while the new hot spring on the first floor of the Hanamaki Hotel only had one pool, which was quite uninteresting. I also suggest providing more small towels, as people might be soaking in various places.

A hot spring inn with a Showa-era feel♨️. The rooms are old-fashioned with thin walls and you can hear the TV next door, but the good thing is that there are plenty of hot springs. The elevators are unusually fast.

All the staff were really friendly, so I'd love to go back if I have the chance. The three hotels are connected, so it was fun to go around the baths.

Because my train was delayed, I missed the shuttle bus and had to pay 4700 yen for a taxi, which was really expensive... The hotel facilities were excellent, the onsen was very nice, the dinner was delicious, and the colorful lights in the Hanamaki Onsen area outside the hotel were also very beautiful.

The location and service were excellent 👍 The airport shuttle service was incredibly generous! The garden and waterfall behind the hotel were beautiful, and there were no other guests, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We still want more!
