This place is just absolutely lovely, my dad and I love i! I just have so much to say about it, but a quick summary; great design, beautiful room, thoughtful freebies, amenities and features, amazing service, decent location (quiet).
The room design was beautiful. An elevated seating area overlooking the streets, which looks great at night. A small table with the cutest kettle to boil water for some tea. The bed was great too, although the pillows may be a bit soft for some, although you can order a special buckwheat pillow at reception which I didn't get to try. The sink is separate from the bath and toilet area, which are both also separated so you can have a dry toilet.
The toilet was great too, it has a remote with so many settings including toilet seat warmer and bidet, and it auto-flushes. There's a heated rack for drying anything you need and there's also a light with a sensor outside the door for night time use!
The sink area has a lot of fun freebies and features, from disposable towels to cleanse your face, to tea-flavoured mouthwash, a light-up mirror, a bit of detergent to hand wash any small bits of laundry, and a Laifen hairdryer. They also provide a slightly larger bath towel.
There are free snacks and tea provided, and the drinks in the mini-bar are also free. Water is provided, and there's also a small menu of what you're able to request from the Hotel. There's also one free coffee claimable from the lobby area and a late night congee. For those on the go super early, you can request for a to-go pack of breakfast. We were also served a strawberry tea during check-in.
The guys at the reception were very lovely, they helped with any inquiries I had enthusiastically, and also helped me order a 3C compliant power bank which was delivered to my room via a robot. I didn't try speaking English to them though.
The location has some good and some bad. The area around the hotel doesn't have much traffic at night and early morning. It's a great area to walk around in, just under a 10 minute walk to Hefang Street, and also walking distance to Shiwukui and Dama Long. There's also a mini-mart nearby that opens until midnight. The downside to this location is that it's terrible to get to using a car from the Xiaoshan International airport during peak hour when everyone is trying to get home - but many places in the city center is like that. Would be better to use a train, but unsure of how packed it might've been.
My only regret is that I wasn't able to stay longer as I had to rush off early morning due to a change in schedule. Lovely stay, would stay again if I had the chance.
