I had a wonderful three-night stay at the View Lake Hotel. First off, the owners were incredibly warm and friendly, providing excellent service and answering all our questions. Secondly, the hotel was very clean; our room was tidied daily, and toiletries were replenished promptly. What's more, the hotel is just a stone's throw from Hefang Street, Drum Tower, and Southern Song Imperial Street, all reachable within a five-minute walk. West Lake Scenic Area is only about a 20-minute walk away, and Hu Xueyan's Former Residence is roughly a 10-minute stroll. There are also many dining options near the hotel to suit all budgets, especially the breakfast spots. A breakfast for just seven yuan, including fried dough sticks, sesame seed cake, and soy milk, is truly amazing value for money. Additionally, the hotel offers Hanfu rental, makeup, and photography services, which perfectly met our needs for taking photos and made our trip truly complete.
