Hangzhou Caijian Private Hot Spring Villa

Booked a private hot spring room for a three-day, two-night stay. **Facilities:** This is a new establishment, opened in October '25, so all the facilities are brand new. The bedding is just the right firmness. The projector and sound system offer an excellent experience. The underfloor heating is incredibly effective; the landlady mentioned the entire building has it, so even if you turn off the heating in your room, it's never cold in winter – it's quite warm. You can comfortably wear a single layer, a short-sleeved shirt, or a vest indoors. **Hygiene:** The bedding, bath towels, hand towels, and bathrobes were all very clean. They even provided both plush and plastic slippers to accommodate different preferences, which is a thoughtful detail. The private hot spring pool was spotless, and disposable bath liners were also available. **Environment:** Located within the Lingyin scenic area, in a local village at the foot of the mountain, it's incredibly tranquil. It truly feels like a hidden gem in the city. (See pictures below, taken directly from the second-floor balcony.) Don't worry about inconvenient transportation. Although there's traffic control (8 am to 5 pm), meaning you can't directly hail a taxi from the guesthouse, the owner has a car and can help transport you outside the controlled area. We experienced this once when checking out; otherwise, we just walked. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the main road where you can catch a taxi, and there's also a scenic shuttle bus. If you plan to visit Lingyin Temple, the entrance is less than a ten-minute walk away. **Service:** Impeccable, warm, and attentive. Since there weren't many guests, they gave us a free room upgrade. Every time we went out, they'd ask if we needed a ride to the taxi stand outside the controlled zone. When we overslept and missed breakfast, they proactively asked and invited us to have some. Upon check-in, a tea break was included, and when we forgot about it midway through our stay, the housekeeper 'secretly' prepared and delivered it right to our door... This is my first time staying at a four-figure (RMB) guesthouse in China, and the experience completely justifies the price, even offering excellent value for money. It's more comfortable and thoughtful than some hotels. Chatting with the landlady, she mentioned that this place targets the mid-to-high-end market but, being new, doesn't have many reviews or guests yet. My husband and I were very satisfied, so we decided to write a long review to express our gratitude. We'll definitely visit again if we have the chance.

This is my first time actively wanting to leave a review for a business. The facilities are comprehensive and thoughtfully designed, making it feel very warm and cozy. Both air conditioning and floor heating are available. All rooms have double-glazed windows, providing excellent sound insulation. Even if it's noisy outside, the room remains very quiet. The projector allowed me to watch whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. The toiletries are also of a higher quality than typical B&Bs. The view from the large terrace is absolutely delightful. From the owner to the housekeepers, everyone was incredibly enthusiastic, considerate, and attentive. The breakfast options changed daily, and the afternoon tea snacks were both aesthetically pleasing and delicious. They provided VOSS drinking water, and the minibar was fully stocked with popular sparkling water, drinks, and red wine, which was replenished daily. Upon departure, they even thoughtfully prepared coffee and a parting gift for us. My entire stay was an absolutely amazing experience.

First off, the owner is absolutely wonderful – so warm and thoughtful! If you're looking for a less crowded spot with great photo ops, just ask the owner; they really know how to enjoy life and have fun. The butler, a young man, makes delicious and beautifully presented breakfasts, and is incredibly attentive and kind. Most importantly, since it's a new establishment, the rooms are spotless and hygienic, which is a huge plus. Oh, and the rooms are incredibly photogenic; the sunrise shots I got were just stunning!

I was already in a bad mood due to an impromptu business trip to Hangzhou, and my head ached even more after an afternoon of meetings. But the moment I arrived at the hotel and stepped onto the rooftop terrace, my spirits lifted instantly – I truly booked an amazing hotel! That evening, I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing hot spring bath and slept soundly until 9 AM the next day. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the room's constant temperature and humidity were a rare find for early winter in Hangzhou; typically, other hotels I've stayed at have dry air from the AC. The breakfast the next day was also perfect for my northern palate. I highly recommend everyone come and experience it!

The environment here is fantastic; it's a guesthouse that just opened in 2025. The rooms are simply and tastefully decorated, clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The disposable toiletries are also of very high quality. For breakfast, a delicious meal including fruit and coffee is delivered to your room every morning. The ingredients are fresh and healthy, and everything is beautifully presented. I especially want to thank the owner, who was incredibly warm and helpful. To make it easier for us to explore the Lingyin Scenic Area, they even lent us an electric scooter for free. On a weekend when traffic was difficult, the owner thoughtfully drove us out of the scenic area to a place where it was easier to catch a taxi. Before we left, they even gave us gifts like tea. It was truly a heartwarming travel experience, and I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again next time! Highly recommended!

As I've gotten older, I prefer staying in quieter places. This B&B is perched high up, offering a panoramic view of the entire scenic area, and the lush green surroundings are incredibly soothing. Chatting with the owner, I learned that the B&B has underfloor heating, fresh air ventilation, and air conditioning throughout, making it warm in winter and cool in summer. I'm planning to come back for a longer stay in winter. All the facilities and amenities are new, and items like toothbrushes and shower gels provided an excellent experience. The drinks in the mini-fridge are complimentary, though I still prefer tea, and the owner had that prepared too. It was truly a delightful stay, and I'm looking forward to winter!
