West Lake Yuexi • Garden Homestay (Qingzhiwu Branch)

The room was absolutely fantastic – spotless and even came with disposable bath and hand towels, which was a nice touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; honestly, it's one of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed in. Highly recommend! I've already told all my friends about it. If you're visiting Hangzhou, this place is a must-stay!

I didn't take pictures of the guesthouse, but the actual place looks pretty much like the photos. The room was clean and tidy, and came with complimentary toiletries. There's a small stream by the entrance with a mist effect, and in the evening, the lights and fabric decorations hanging from the trees looked beautiful swaying in the breeze. The owners, a handsome guy and a lovely lady, were incredibly warm, polite, and hospitable. They gave great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing routes. They also offer free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) rentals and drinks, and if there are enough people, you can even play a ****** mystery game. The cleaning auntie was also wonderful; she'd greet us every morning. It was a fantastic experience, a really authentic guesthouse vibe. Even as a guy, I highly recommend it; it just felt so comfortable and relaxing.

My child really loved it. It's very close to the botanical garden. The only downside is the bathroom is a bit small, otherwise everything else was great.

Our stay at this guesthouse was fantastic! The room was spacious, new, and well-equipped, not to mention spotless. The owner was incredibly kind; she upgraded our room and provided excellent service. She even gave us a general itinerary for the botanical garden and recommended some genuinely delicious local eateries. She also took care of our laundry, washing and drying our clothes for us. The guesthouse's surroundings are lovely, with a charming 'small bridges and flowing water' vibe. It's only 50 meters from the botanical garden entrance, perfect for some fresh air. We rented an electric scooter and were at West Lake in just five minutes – super convenient! We'll definitely be back here on our next trip to Hangzhou. It's a shame I forgot to take photos, so here's one of West Lake instead.

Staying at Qingzhiwu by West Lake is a quiet blessing. West Lake Moon Stream Garden B&B, surrounded by lush greenery and charming alleys, feels like a hidden courtyard in the city. Waking up to birdsong instead of an alarm clock, and opening the window to the verdant botanical garden rather than cold skyscrapers, is truly refreshing. The room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful touches. Even the toiletries and small amenities made me feel well-cared for. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, offering to help with luggage and recommending routes, making it feel like I had a familiar friend in Hangzhou. My favorite part was sitting in the garden in the morning, enjoying a cup of coffee. In those moments, travel ceased to be rushed and instead, gently slowed down. If West Lake is the scenery, then staying here truly felt like 'living within the scenery'.

The guesthouse was cozy and comfortable overall, with excellent facilities and a welcoming, home-like service. It's close to West Lake, within walking distance to attractions, clean and convenient. The owner was warm and attentive. Highly recommend!

I recommend this place for both pet-owning and non-pet-owning families for a short stay. It's close to West Lake and Lingyin Temple, within walking distance. The room was pretty good, though the shower area was a bit small. I appreciate that they provided laundry detergent for underwear. The pillows were very comfortable, and there was no strange odor in the room. The owner was also very nice. The room was quiet, which I really appreciated since I'm a light sleeper. Plus, they provided disposable bath and face towels, which was a nice touch. Overall, I'm satisfied.
