The ambiance here is wonderful. There's a beautiful tea garden in the courtyard that's incredibly photogenic, especially after it rains. The bed in the room was super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious too. The hotel is practically next door to Wugui Tan (Turtle Pond), with its back entrance leading right to it. West Lake is also just a pleasant 15-minute walk away. I'll definitely be coming back!

Nestled within the picturesque West Lake scenic area, this hotel boasts absolutely stunning surroundings. Its courtyard features a lovely tea garden, offering a relaxing spot for guests to enjoy tea. All the surrounding attractions are conveniently close by, making it easy to explore the area on foot whenever you wish. While the hotel has been established for quite some time and features a rather traditional decor style, it is actually surprisingly well-maintained. The housekeeping staff do a fantastic job of keeping the rooms spotlessly clean. Therefore, my overall experience during the stay was very pleasant.

Good resort. Nice rooms but could be better. Like a place to hang your towels and clothes. Needs some touching up and general cleaning.

Amazing hotel just a few minutes walk from the shore of West Lake. The environment is good, with music in the evening, and friendly staff in the restaurant. Rooms were simple enough, but adequate. It really wins on location - as it wasn't that busy around and was great to explore the walking paths and attractions nearby.

I had a wonderful stay at Teavilla. Warm welcome and fully support from staffs. They assisted me with finding a local hanfu rental and recommended a few local places. All staffs are very friendly and helpful. Definitely I will come back again whenever I have a chance to visit Hangzhou. Location is a big highlight, walking distance to many attractions, easy to book taxi or didi with just a few minutes wait.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a very pleasant experience. Located to the west of West Lake (西湖), the hotel is beautifully hidden in the forest, blending seamlessly with nature. It consists of several small buildings surrounding a pond, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean and well-maintained, with very comfortable beds. The hotel staff were kind, attentive, and professional, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Although it's a bit far from the metro, it’s still conveniently located near major tourist attractions, making it a great base for exploring Hangzhou. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat close to nature while still having access to the city’s highlights.

Authentic, intimate, hospitable in the ideal location with a small restaurant serving well prepared local (and I think other regional Chinese) food catering for hotel guests, and it seems also frequented by locals. The sort of accommodation I'm always on the look out for when travelling around China. Thanks for making us feel welcome.

It is a nice little accommodation at the other parts of West Lake. No metro nearby. Can easily get Didi to town and main gate of West Lake within 20mins. Good breakfast. Very prompt service. Room is very cold due to malfunction of heater but they quickly send over a portable heater fan.

I stayed at one of the courtyard room. It's really small and the tiles at the toilet are broken. It will cut your feet if not careful. The place is a bit old and rundown.

Walking distance from west lake , warm welcoming, good restaurant , very clean and comfortable room !
