Wenxie Hotel

I chose this hotel for a concert, and it's not far from the venue. There are A and B buildings; I was in building A, which doesn't have an elevator. The soundproofing isn't great. The room was also very close to the residential area across the street, so remember to draw your curtains well! It's small but has everything you need.

I needed to leave early from Huanglong Sports Center, so I just looked for a nearby hotel to get some sleep. It's very convenient with plenty of food options around. The hotel rooms aren't big, but for the price, I can't complain too much.

Facilities: Very well-equipped, everything you need is there. Had a great stay. Cleanliness: The staff cleaned very thoroughly and would ask if we wanted the trash emptied. Environment: Very good, slept really well. Service: The owner was very nice and communicated efficiently.

Had a fantastic stay! The room was spacious and bright, with a simple yet elegant design. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help. The location was perfect for getting around, and everything was spotless, which made me feel very secure and comfortable.

The room has all the basic amenities, is clean and tidy, perfect for guests who just need a place to sleep and don't plan on dining in, like marathon runners visiting Hangzhou. It's close to the subway station and Huanglong Sports Center. It would be even better if they provided two bottles of mineral water in the room for guests.

The room's cleanliness was really subpar. The bedside table looked like it hadn't been wiped down in ages; when I used a disinfectant wipe on it, it turned black. The window screens in the room were also covered in dust. While the bathroom wasn't small, the shower stall was tiny – it was hard to even turn around in there. The shampoo had even separated. Management wasn't great either; I handed over my room card to a staff member early in the morning, only to get a call at 2 PM asking if I was checking out. 😱 The female receptionist was a bit sharp-tongued, and they couldn't even manage room assignments properly. I've stayed at many places around Zhejiang University, and at this price point, this one is by far the worst. Seriously, I don't recommend staying here; save yourself the trouble! 🕳️
