Friendship Hotel Hangzhou （West lake）

The hotel's location is truly excellent, very close to the subway station, and surrounded by bustling areas. While it may not offer a direct first-row view of West Lake, its 15th-floor view is actually superior to many lower-story hotels right on the lake, providing a panoramic vista of West Lake. The hotel facilities are complete and seem very new. The bedding in the room was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The toiletries and bathroom fixtures were from high-end brands, indicating good quality. Even the bottled water provided included six bottles of Nongfu Spring, along with milk and soda, plus two additional bottles specifically for tea. There was also a cute little night light Bluetooth speaker for playing music. However, I felt the cleanliness details were not well handled. Initially, upon entering the room, I was thoroughly impressed and touched by various details, even taking photos to write a good review. But when I changed into slippers, I noticed a lot of hair on the floor, especially prominent on the carpet. I initially decided to overlook it, but after showering, I found a long hair on the bath towel and another on the toilet, which instantly disgusted me. After I provided feedback, the staff responded quickly, moving me to a different room that had no issues, and offered a complimentary breakfast. Breakfast brought my good impression of the hotel back up again. The breakfast restaurant is on the 20th floor and is a revolving buffet, so the view is simply unbeatable. The variety of food was also very comprehensive, making for a great experience. Overall, if the cleanliness details were better managed, this hotel, given its location, actually offers much better value for money than hotels right by the lake. It's highly recommended.

The hotel is located on Pinghai Road, very close to the subway station, and just a few minutes' walk to West Lake and in77. The buffet breakfast is served on the 20th-floor revolving restaurant, where you can enjoy delicious food with beautiful views of West Lake – it's incredibly pleasant! Next time I come to Hangzhou, I'll definitely choose this place again!

This was my second stay, which speaks volumes about my satisfaction. The location is incredibly convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk to Intime in77, and then a little further to the beautiful West Lake. The service was warm and attentive, and the breakfast maintained a good standard. Plus, the panoramic view of West Lake from the revolving restaurant is absolutely unbeatable.

The room was neat and clean, and thoughtfully provided with multi-use disposable laundry detergent. I stayed on the 6th floor; although it wasn't a high floor and there was some equipment noise, it became very quiet after closing the window, so it didn't affect my sleep. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit West Lake, Beishan Street, go shopping, and dine. Public transportation is also readily available for slightly more distant attractions like Lingyin Temple. The revolving restaurant on the 20th floor offers a panoramic view of West Lake and serves delicious sushi and miso soup, which is also a nice touch.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, definitely a five-star experience! The staff, both men and women, provided service with a smile and patiently answered all our questions. We felt a warm welcome as soon as we arrived in Hangzhou. They even allocated a suitable room based on our needs. Despite being in a bustling area, the soundproofing was excellent, so it was very quiet at night. The hygiene was impeccable; we didn't find any issues with mosquitoes or insects. I highly recommend adding the breakfast package – the revolving restaurant on the 20th floor is incredibly worthwhile! The breakfast offerings change daily, and the food is super delicious with a huge variety. The chefs regularly patrol to ensure dishes are replenished promptly, so you'll never find anything missing. My mom couldn't stop raving about all the thoughtful details throughout the hotel, haha. Plus, you get to enjoy stunning views of West Lake. Everyone should come and experience it!

My favorite place to stay whenever I visit Hangzhou is this hotel. It's super convenient for getting around, the location is excellent, the rooms are very clean, and the service is outstanding – they respond quickly to any request. It's so relaxing to sit on the sofa in the room and look out at West Lake. And at the revolving restaurant, you can enjoy the beautiful West Lake scenery while having breakfast.

The exterior looks really old! But it doesn't affect the inside at all! The lobby is very bright, and the front desk staff are super friendly! We booked a business twin room; it wasn't huge, but it was very clean! There's also a big sofa, and they provide complimentary water and drinks. The bathroom was spotless too! The beds are incredibly comfortable – with two 1.35m beds, my daughter and I each had plenty of space and felt very relaxed. The hotel's location is fantastic! It's a three-minute walk to Longxiang Road subway station, and just five minutes to the anime and Intime shopping districts. The subway system is so convenient for getting everywhere! It's about a ten-minute walk to West Lake and only ten minutes by subway to the train station. Honestly, I can't find any flaws! We were too busy exploring to book breakfast, but food deliveries are easily accessible. Next time I visit Hangzhou, I'm definitely staying at the Friendship Hotel again!

Due to a typhoon, I had an unexpected stopover in Hangzhou and chose this hotel at the last minute. It's very close to the subway station, right next to Intime Department Store, and just a few hundred meters from West Lake – perfect for dining and shopping. The location is truly unbeatable! They even upgraded my room for free. The room wasn't huge, but the window view was great, and it was very quiet. The breakfast buffet didn't have a huge variety, but who can say no to the 20th-floor view overlooking West Lake? The staff were also very friendly, always offering to help with luggage when I entered or exited. One more thing: I had booked breakfast for two, but my child was probably tall enough to eat for free, so I asked if I could get a refund for one. The hotel initially said no. Then I extended my stay for another day and booked it without breakfast. A kind front desk lady gently suggested that I could transfer the extra breakfast I had paid for to my extended stay reservation, so I could still enjoy breakfast at the hotel. I was very grateful to her; I was very satisfied with this solution.
