I first stayed here with my older brother 11 years ago, and now, with my sister, we're reliving the same age, the same hotel, and the same amusement parks. Memories and reality intertwine; the hotel service is still excellent and even more thoughtful and attentive than before. The location is superb: driving from Shanghai, even during the National Day holiday, it only takes a little over 3 hours to arrive. Hangzhou Paradise is just a two-to-three-minute walk to the left, and Rotten Apple Park is a four-to-five-minute walk to the right. The Ferris wheel is right at the entrance, making it incredibly convenient for families with kids to go anywhere. The amenities and services are comprehensive: We booked for four days and three nights, and both Rotten Apple and Hangzhou Paradise offered unlimited entry for all four days, with face recognition making it super convenient. The hotel's front and back entrances are actually very close, just a few minutes' walk, but the deer-shaped carts add endless fun to this short journey. Both kids in our family took turns riding them every day, which they loved. The buffet breakfast included in the room rate was decent, and the buffet dinner at 148 RMB per person was quite good value for money. While the variety wasn't extensive, the quality of the steak and the freshness of the salmon sashimi were excellent. The desserts, cakes, and ice cream were also delicious. It's perfect for families like ours who prefer to stay at the hotel and not venture out, haha. Although it's an older hotel, it's particularly well-suited for family trips. In the mornings, there are performances and interactions for children, and they even have their own small indoor play area (with excellent air conditioning). Room facilities: Being an older hotel, some wear and tear is inevitable, but the cleanliness is very good. We stayed in a spacious tatami family room with three beds and a sofa, which was very comfortable for four people, with plenty of space for luggage. Housekeeping was diligent every day; since we had a large group, I asked for more mineral water the next morning, and the auntie politely gave us two extra bottles and asked if that was enough. Parking: Free and the lot is very large, you can park anywhere near the entrance. Pleasant surprises: Before check-in, a friendly assistant added me on WeChat to handle pre-arrival questions and arrangements. Because we booked through Ctrip, we also received complimentary coffee and fruit in the lobby. Upon checking out, they thoughtfully gave us a Thai soap bar. I accidentally left my brother's hat behind during our rushed check-out, and the hotel contacted me to send it via SF Express. In conclusion, while nothing is perfect, the attentive service at Hangzhou First World Hotel can compensate for any minor shortcomings. I highly recommend it for families with young children looking for a holiday!
