Hangzhou Tower Hotel Reviews

This is my second stay at Hangzhou Tower Hotel this year, and this time I opted for the Executive Business King Room. It was on a higher floor and more spacious. Upon arrival, I received a welcome fruit platter, and the mini-bar drinks were complimentary. They also gave me a 'Bird and Flower' couples set meal. The hygiene and service were excellent, and every evening, they delivered two small desserts. From the 26th to the 28th, it happened to be Hangzhou Tower's mid-year anniversary celebration, with a market and a concert downstairs, creating a very lively atmosphere. I was extremely satisfied with this stay!

Facilities: Very well maintained. Cleanliness: Spotless and bright. Service: Warm, attentive, and responsive to guest needs. The kids absolutely loved it! As an established high-end hotel in the city center, it offers the best value for money. Definitely recommend, and I'll be back again.

The hotel's location is great, surrounded by many high-end shops, perfect for a casual stroll. It's also conveniently close to Wulinmen Pier for boat trips. The interior decor is a bit classic/old-fashioned, and the room isn't huge, but the bathroom is spacious with a separate wet and dry area, which is really refreshing. The service, in particular, was outstanding. As soon as we arrived in the underground parking garage, unsure of how to get out, the butler called us and then personally came down to escort us. After check-out, they again personally saw us off to the garage – truly commendable! We added the butler on WeChat and bothered them with various requests, and they were always patient and meticulous, definitely praiseworthy. Another detail the hotel did very well was the welcome fruit, which included apples and pears, accompanied by a peeler for easy eating – something I haven't encountered in other hotels, truly deserving of praise. The only complaint I have is about the parking. Probably due to historical reasons, the garage is a bit far from the hotel, and first-time, non-local guests will likely find it confusing.

The room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and the service was exceptionally good. The breakfast offered a wide variety of over a hundred food items.

The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, with excellent housekeeping. The hotel's location is also great, right next to a commercial complex with plenty of dining and shopping options. The only downside was the inconvenient parking. You have to cross the road to get from the ground level to the parking lot, which is a real hassle when it's raining. If you go through the underground passage, it's a long walk with stairs up and down, and it's not accessible when the mall is closed.

For this area and environment, the price offers really great value for money! 👍

You'd be lucky to get one with a window. The round bathtub was also a big plus. The shower area is spacious too, and the Grohe showerhead made for a really refreshing experience. The room layout was quite reasonable, and it's clear that many of the furnishings and facilities were top-of-the-line back in the day. The hotel service was excellent; the quality of service from this established luxury hotel hasn't diminished, and the valet parking service was spot on. It's quite rare for an older hotel to have delivery robots, which shows they are keeping their facilities updated. **Cons:** The mattress was too soft—the softest I've ever slept on. Perhaps soft mattresses were popular in the past, but this one offered no support at all. Also, the toilet flush seemed a bit weak. The soundproofing of the door seemed a bit lacking; there was even a slight draft. When the next-door room closed their door, ours would vibrate. Overall, it's a pretty good deal on weekdays and weekends, especially for a hotel in this location. The value for money might not be as good during holidays. If you appreciate the old-money style of established luxury hotels or enjoy taking baths, this place is perfect. However, if you're looking for modern decor and smart home features, this isn't the right fit.

The hotel's location is excellent, and it's very convenient for shopping, with a mall right downstairs. The facilities are a bit old. The price is reasonable, but the staff's service was mediocre; their communication felt a bit stiff.

Loved that the hotel is a few minutes walk to Wulin square station Can go to 西湖 westlake or many of the night markets by bus or train in a few stops Its a quieter place but still have convenience shop nearby. Room is spacious and staff are friendly too!

Right outside, you have access to the Grand Canal water bus ⛴️, perfect for visiting Gongchen Bridge and strolling along the river. Who can truly understand the beauty of Jiangnan in spring rain! Hangzhou Tower is centrally located, making it convenient for going out and daily life. I'll definitely be back!

The room is very spacious, especially the bathroom, which faces the Grand Canal. It has a huge bathtub, and it's truly enjoyable to bathe while admiring the view. They even provide a peeler with the complimentary fruit, showing very thoughtful service. The main entrance is at the A building's entrance, featuring a creative garden that makes you feel like you've stepped into a fairytale.

The location is unbeatable, absolutely central. You can even go shopping, and it's close to everything. The facilities are top-notch, and the environment and service standards are very good.
