Zhejiang Hotel truly exceeded our expectations!
**Facilities:** The hotel's exterior isn't particularly eye-catching, but the rooms inside are incredibly new and freshly renovated. They're also super spacious, easily 30-40 square meters, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and even a bidet. The room amenities could easily rival a five-star hotel.
**Cleanliness:** Housekeeping cleaned the room spotlessly every day. The bed linen and duvet covers were very comfortable. I'm quite sensitive to cleanliness, and I would definitely notice if something wasn't up to par, but I slept soundly for all three nights.
**Location:** The hotel's location is excellent. It's right next to Intime Department Store at Wulin Square, and there's another mall next door with plenty of dining options in its B2 level, which is super convenient. It's also close to the subway, about a 7-8 minute walk, and getting taxis anywhere is very easy.
**Service:** The staff are all professionally trained and provide excellent service. They proactively helped with luggage and pressed the elevator button. It's clear why this used to be a hotel for VIP guests; their legacy of service truly remains.
**Breakfast:** The breakfast spread was extensive, and it felt like every single item was prepared with care. Many were local Hangzhou specialties, and they were all delicious 😋. Plus, because we booked a package deal, in addition to the double breakfast, we also received a complimentary dinner for two. They didn't skimp on quality; the set meal was delicious and definitely not like those pre-made dishes.
**Canal Day Pass:** The complimentary Grand Canal one-day combined ticket is highly recommended – set aside a full day for it! You can get off at each stop to explore and then re-board to go to the next. There are four stops in total, offering a very leisurely and enjoyable experience.
