XIANGHU XIAOYAO MANOR

Excellent location with great facilities and a beautiful, pleasant environment. The breakfast spread is extensive, and the Chinese restaurant offers tempting and delicious dishes. The service attitude is very good, and the bedding is comfortable. It's perfect for both leisure and family trips. Highly recommended!

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied. Pros: The scenery is beautiful, and many people come here to take photos. The travel photography quality is decent. The staff in the public areas are all very helpful, and the front desk staff are friendly and efficient. Both check-in and check-out were very quick, with no long waits. Breakfast is also plentiful and tastes good. Cons: Perhaps because it's a lake view room, the room was very damp, and so was the bedding. The towels had an odor, and there was dust in the corners of the headboard shelf. When my baby played there, his hands were covered in dust. One thing that was quite unsatisfactory was ordering room service. I clearly told the front desk to just leave it in the cabinet outside the door, but when I returned to the room, I found that someone had been inside while I was out. I'm not sure if the front desk didn't relay the message properly or what happened. Also, there are no benches in the swimming pool changing rooms to sit on while changing clothes, which I suggest they improve. Overall, the experience was still good, and I would choose this hotel again next time.

The environment here is pretty good, and the hygiene is excellent. They offer tie-dye experiences, photo shoots, Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) experiences, and there's a pool. The service was also great; my hand got cut by the edge of a mirror, and both the front desk and the manager were very proactive in resolving the issue. The only downside is that the bathroom in this room design is too far from the bedroom, which is inconvenient if you need to use it at night. If it weren't for the bathroom and mirror issues, I'd give the facilities a perfect score.

This was my first time staying at a five-star hotel, and the service was excellent from the moment we arrived until our car was parked in the underground garage. Staff guided us every step of the way. When checking in, they even registered our car, so we didn't have to scan a parking QR code when leaving the hotel. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The young lady working by the pool was incredibly sweet and gentle. She patiently explained that we needed a swim cap and swimsuit to enter the pool and even asked if we needed towels when we got out ❤️ So thoughtful! Breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious 😋

The public areas are really well-equipped and beautifully designed, with potted green plants everywhere indoors. In contrast, the guest rooms are a bit of a letdown. Given the significant number of families staying here, which the hotel should be aware of, it's surprising that the TVs don't offer on-demand content or screen mirroring. Sometimes, you need a TV to entertain children, or when adults are busy and kids are alone. The bedding, in my opinion, is the biggest drawback. The pillows flatten completely the moment you lie down, offering no support whatsoever. The bed itself isn't comfortable to sleep on either. Although the hotel followed up and mentioned they could remove the mattress or provide buckwheat pillows, I still believe there's room for improvement in the room facilities. Most hotels manage to strike a balance without needing major replacements after check-in. I understand that many people take photos, which is hard to control. The public areas are beautiful enough, but please give more attention to the guest rooms. Otherwise, there are no other issues. The service is excellent, and the staff are generally very polite. They follow up on problems, and the service exceeded my expectations. The Shui Yang Chinese restaurant offers consistently good food. While not outstanding, the flavors and cooking are well-controlled and worth trying.

The estate's garden environment is impeccable, with serene and elegant lakeside views everywhere you look. Nearby is the Lotus Manor, where the lotus and water lilies are in full bloom. The room service staff are gentle and polite, always greeting you warmly if you pass them in the hallway, which is really thoughtful. The amenities show great attention to detail; you can grab complimentary bottled water from the hallway, and the gym offers free apples. Breakfast offers a rich variety, with plenty of Chinese and Western options, as well as local specialties. Many tourists were taking photos in the lobby. However, the swimming pool water was a bit dirty, and the room overall felt a bit damp; even after leaving clothes to dry with the air conditioning on all night, they wouldn't fully dry. The area is surrounded by many ponds, leading to an abundance of mosquitoes, and I got many bites, making it hard to tell if they were from inside the estate or outdoors.

The location is right at the entrance of Xianghu Lake, and the environment is absolutely stunning. Built right by the lake, the hotel lobby resembles a classical garden, perfect for photoshoots – we even saw a lot of influencers taking pictures there. We got an upgraded room, which was very spacious and overlooked Xianghu Lake with a fantastic view. The room was a little damp, though, and the scent of the candle wasn't very pleasant. Also, the delivery robot doesn't deliver outside food.

The environment at Xiaoyao Manor is elegant and tranquil, making my stay incredibly comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were thoughtful and attentive, providing warm and excellent service that made me feel very much at ease! In the mornings, I enjoyed the lotus flowers, and in the afternoons, I relaxed in the pool. There are also many restaurants within 5 kilometers. It was a delightful trip.
