Jielu Hostel（West Lake Store）

I really recommend this place. The place is situated in a beautiful location, if you like the nature and walk, this is your place, they also have a nice swimming pool to rest after your walk. You can visit one park with a cascade 15 minutes from there, and walk around famous longing tea fields. It was an unforgeable experience. Also the staff it's super nice, they can speak English, they were very friendly and explained me were to go. I will come back soon 🤙

What a lovely homestay! I came for a yoga/meditation getaway. However, I fell Iill. The staff was so kind and brought my meal and other items to my room and checked on me about medicine. Even though my trip didn’t work out as planned, it was a nice place to rest and relax. I really enjoyed the tub, the bed was comfy and breakfast was delicious. I will definitely come again (when I’m not sick).

We loved JieLu Hotel! And the whole area with it's beautiful and vast tea plantations. Longjing tea grows in the area and Longjing Village is in walking distance (about 2 km) from the hotel. Once arrived at the spot, you'll need to climb up a few stairs to reach the horel, but you have a grand view from the hotel terrace. There's also a pool right beside the terrace - a good spot, especially for kids, to dip into the water and enjoy a nice view at the same time. The hotel is very airy, lots of windows, lots of light, very clean. There's a Café in the entrance/lobby area, a little place for kids to play, a restaurant part, where you can also choose to sit outside, and where breakfast is served in the morning - you can choose either Western or Chinese style. We tried both and found both delicious and nutritious! Btw, the coffee they serve is excellent! And the service generally very kind! The room is simple, but practical and clean. Bed is very comfy, mattress not too soft, so we had a very good night of sleep. It's possible to park the car along the street (it's a bit hilly though and you might and up hunting for a spot if you are not as lucky as we were), and when we left, the staff gave us a voucher, so we ended up not paying additionally for the parking. Another very service-oriented goodie: Trip.com called me before we set off for JieLu Hotel and connected me with the staff via WeChat. It was very useful for all kinds of info - address, To-Dos upon arrival (PCR test), Infos concerning wifi, breakfast time, ...

Nice hotel but pool didn’t have any water, breakfast wasn’t good. The staff were very helpful and tried their best to help.

Great home stay. Ideal for families. Play corner for kids in the lobby makes you feel at home. Service is very personal because the hotel is very small. Facilities are new. The hotel comes with an excellent view of the valley. Enjoy the pool for swimming, big and clean.

This is a very cozy hotel. Everything seems new and clean, and the check in is smooth. The people running the place are all friendly, not pushy. It’s a nice place to stay. They have a small pool, clean water. Breakfast has two options- Chinese noodles with dumplings, not the instant type but the real cooked. And the Western option is egg toast with salad. They are dog friendly , and they also have a lovely dog. All in all- I would warmly recommend this cute place.

Love this hotel in Hangzhou. It’s located in a village between the tea plantations. It has a swimming pool, comfortable and clean rooms! And the staff is really helpful!

We had a lovely stay at the Jielu Hostel. The staff we welcoming before our arrival and during our whole stay. They accommodated the food for us as vegetarians. We had a beautiful view from our room and it was a lovely quiet area to stay. From the hostel, we walked to the Longjing tea fields and explored the greenery of Hangzhou! A wonderful stay.

This hostel is by far the best place in hangzhou. In the middle of the Longjing Tea Fields. Perfect location, superb stay with a big pool. Lovely hosts which treated me almost like family. Delisicous coffee like from a barista. I will definitely come back! Big recommendation for all travelers who want to enjoy the beauty of nature.
