Hotel Apex

The room is so small that you need to move the chair when opening the bathroom door. During sleep at night, the water pipes occasionally make a harsh sound of water flow. The blanket is particularly small, and it leaks out when you turn it over. The room has poor sound insulation, and people in the corridor can clearly hear people moving around. The room does not provide any bottled water, and each bottle costs 3 euros. There is also an extremely terrible breakfast, making it feel like it's been left for a long time ，Next time, I would rather sleep under a bridge than stay at this hotel. In addition, this hotel often changes its name and uses different names for advertisements. As long as everyone remembers this address, they won't be deceived next time.

I had a nice stay here overall. The location is excellent, being very close to the train station. A huge highlight was the wonderful service—the lady at the desk was incredibly nice and proactively shared helpful traffic updates regarding the event happening nearby. However, the facilities are quite dated. For instance, both the towel hanging bar and the toilet roll holder were loose and shaking. With a few maintenance updates, this would be a top-tier place to stay!

Before going to Germany for the Hannover Messe , I tried to communicate via email and phone call via TRIP.com to ask if there is earlier check-in possible. There is no response at all. When I reached, I booked the comfort double room but the reception give me the small single bed room at the corner. I tried to communicate with the reception to clarify but she insisted this the best room than the double bed room which I booked. The reception cannot really speak English well so I gave up to argue. The hotel room is very very SMALL and very BASIC. NO shower gel, NO Drinking Hot Water, NO tooth blush and paste supplied. The breakfast is also very simple. Bread, ham, cheese, egg and tea, coffee. The only convenience is near the train station Hemmigen and supermarket Lidi is nearby. I believe the Hotel is going to change name soon as there is no APEX. NOT recommended to book this hotel if you have other choices.
