If you don't mind a small room with no windows, it's still a good place to stay. It's close to the walking street and Hoan Kiem Lake. The popular coffee shop and sticky rice place are right across the street. The Michelin-starred beef pho is about a 20-minute walk, and MAMA Banh Mi is just past the church. Remember, smoking is strictly forbidden, and you'll be fined 500,000 Vietnamese Dong, which is about 130 RMB.

This hotel is small and only has one type of room per level. This resulted in me and my family staying in separate levels, quite inconvenient. I need to put this out there in my review so people who book knows about this. If I had know this sooner, I would just directly book the family room of 4 instead of 2 rooms of 2. Overall it was not a pleasant stay as the acoustic barriers of the walls are non-existent. I can hear what the people beside my rooms talking. One night, as I was watching TV, the reception staff came knocking on my door to ask me to lower the volume. The TV was only at sound level 8! Not even at 100. I keep waking up to the sound of door bells ringing, and then I realised it was from the other units.

The soundproofing in the room isn't very good but overall the stay was pleasant especially thanks to the helpful and friendly front desk staffs 👍
