Hanoi Riverview Boutique Hotel & Apartment

I stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, the soundproofing was quite poor. I stayed on the 3rd floor but could clearly hear people talking on the 1st floor, as well as dogs barking every night. Another issue was that although I did not request housekeeping, the staff entered the room without permission. At that moment, my husband was completely naked, which made him feel extremely shocked and embarrassed. This experience was very uncomfortable for us.

A Wonderful Stay With Just One Small Downside I was genuinely impressed from the moment I arrived. The hotel feels fresh and beautifully maintained — everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The reception team, the staff in the breakfast area, and even the security guard were incredibly kind and attentive, which made my stay feel extra special. Breakfast was excellent as well, easily the best I had during my time in Hanoi. Before booking, I had carefully read reviews and knew there was construction next door. Thankfully, we didn’t experience any early-morning noise. However, we did hear loud noise late at night — coming from big trucks unloading materials. It went on for over an hour, around midnight to 2 a.m. I understand this may be outside the hotel’s direct control, but I was surprised that such late-night work was allowed, considering it’s normally prohibited by law. This was the only part of our stay we didn’t enjoy. Everything else was truly wonderful, and I would happily return — hopefully once all construction is finally completed. The amazing staff and overall atmosphere made the stay memorable despite that one issue.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast is good. Walking distance to West Lake. Noise can be a problem if you are sensitive (4am cockerel/dog/the occasional heavy vehicle).

The hotel and room are immaculately clean. Service provided by the front office is excellent. This hotel is as good as a resort hotel. Overall, it is a very satisfying stay, I will definitely come again.

One of the nicest hotels in Hanoi—it’s clean, and the service is very classy and pleasant. I’ll definitely stay there again if I come back to Hanoi. The only downside is that it’s located far from amenities and the Old Quarter.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hanoi Riverview Boutique Hotel & Apartment, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi, whether for business, leisure, or just to unwind. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how beautifully the hotel has been designed — modern, clean, and elegant, with careful attention to detail in every corner. My room was spacious, bright, and well-maintained, featuring a comfortable bed, lovely balcony views, and all the amenities you’d expect (top-notch fixtures, a good bathroom, excellent air conditioning).  The rooftop pool and terrace are real highlights. Whether relaxing by the pool during the day or enjoying the evening panorama of the Red River and West Lake, the views are memorable. It’s a perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a few hours.  Staff service here truly stood out. The team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring — every request was handled with warmth and efficiency. For instance, the front‐desk staff made sure I had everything I needed, even helping me with transport options and special requests. It felt very much like being taken care of at home.  Breakfast was varied and tasty. Fresh fruit, local specialties, continental options — something for every palate. Even with many guests, service was prompt and courteous.  Location was perfect to get away from the busy areas and enjoy some peace and quiet.
