We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who helped us with everything and always greeted us with a genuine smile. Their hospitality truly stood out — this was the only hotel during our 6D5N trip in Vietnam where we genuinely felt welcomed.
The only downside was the bathroom design: shower water tended to flow past the toilet area toward the sink drain. However, considering the very affordable room rate, this was something I could overlook.
Everything else was great. There was no damp smell in the room even though it only had small windows, and it had all the basic amenities we needed. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the lake through a small path, with plenty of cafés nearby. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. Getting a Grab was also very easy, and it took less than 10 minutes to reach the Old Quarter when there was no traffic. The hotel has both an elevator and stairs. Walkable to Tran Quoc Pagoda, around 10 mins walking distance.
We would definitely come back next time, hopefully for a room with bigger windows and a lake view. They don’t provide breakfast, but the airport pick-up and drop-off service they offer is affordable and convenient.
Overall, the staff’s wonderful hospitality was the key factor that made our stay enjoyable. I’m very happy with the experience and would recommend this hotel for its warmth and value.
