Pullman Hanoi

The cleanliness definitely wasn't 5-star, and with ongoing construction, it was hard to relax. The pool was also a bit small, which was a shame. Maybe I just had my expectations too high.

Overall, I'm satisfied. Although the design is a bit dated, the quality is acceptable. The breakfast offers a good variety and is of good quality. I'm also happy with the swimming pool, and there's a gym and pickleball court. The mattress and pillows are comfortable, and the room amenities are replaced daily. Because there was renovation work on the lower floors, we were upgraded to a higher floor room facing the main entrance, which offered a great view. Areas for improvement: There were no USB charging ports in the room; the TV couldn't connect to the internet, so we couldn't watch Netflix or YouTube. I really need to complain about the front desk service. This trip was for my husband's birthday holiday, and upon arrival, the front desk actually told me that my husband's birthday was on the 2nd, but today was already the 5th. What was the meaning of that??? As an international five-star hotel, I truly can't believe they would say something like that to a guest!!!

This hotel meets international 5-star standards, but it's a bit old. The location isn't too far from the city center, just a 15-minute taxi ride. It has a swimming pool, which isn't huge, and considering the price, it's relatively affordable among Hanoi's mainstream 5-star hotels.

Saw the cleaner use the same cloth they used for the toilet to wipe the table. My mom was so upset she refused any cleaning service for our week-long stay and only used her own supplies from then on. However, the environment here is quite nice, and it's also very close to the company.

The hotel's facilities are really outdated. It's basically a Pullman in name only, with a decor straight out of a 90s guesthouse. Plus, they're currently renovating the gym, which makes it a bit noisy. The only good thing was breakfast, which was excellent! There was a huge variety, including Chinese congee with various pickles, Vietnamese pho (different every day), Western breakfast (all made to order), Japanese soup, Korean bibimbap, Indian dishes, bread, sandwiches, cheese, salads, all sorts of dairy products, and coffee – everything you could want. It would be perfect if they could renovate the rooms.

Pretty good. It's centrally located, making it easy to get to all the main city attractions. You can also reach the weekend railway night market within a 10-minute taxi ride, which is very convenient. It's a great choice for shoppers, and even places to upload photos aren't far.

Overall, the hotel felt quite old. While the room was clean, the Vietnamese humidity unfortunately left a faint, unavoidable musty smell. The facilities in the room, especially the bathroom fixtures like the faucet, toilet, and shower, were a bit dated and indeed felt a bit worn out and less than fully functional. 😂 However, breakfast did not disappoint. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, showing us to our seats. The variety of food was abundant, and the quality was consistently good.
