Location is great, within the centre of tourist spots. But the balcony is unsafe, the door cannot be locked and the air-cond is leaking...

The room was clean, hygienic, and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The location was convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and the hygiene details were excellent. The facilities were good, and overall, it offered great value for money. Highly recommended!

Check in was smooth, easily located in grab app. Was in transit and reception kind to change money in dong. Courteous receptionist. Room was huge but lack good shampoo and body shower. Some part of wall showed aging wear n tear but still comfortable and huge bed. Morning they provided simple breakfast western or pho. Highly competitive strret with other hotels and massage shops. Overall it has great value for money a stay with breakfast.

The location is great, close to the lake, and the staff are really friendly and laid-back. The interior is a bit dated, but for the price, it's fair.

Hotel staff very friendly. Not a big hotel and some facilities is old but hotel is clean. Really Like their breakfast because they cook breakfast upon order. Hotel location is good in the middle of old quarter and famous bun cha restaurant and pho 10 restaurant are nearby this hotel.

The hotel is located in a strategic location, within walking distance of the heart of the Old Quarter, especially the weekend night market along Dong Xuan Road. The room is spacious, but the interior and furniture are a bit dated, and the cleanliness is acceptable. The towels provided are somewhat old, and some have stains. The shower has strong water pressure and a stable temperature. However, the hairdryer provided in the room is very small. The staff—especially the receptionist who assisted us during check-in—were extremely helpful. She speaks English very well. We arrived at the hotel around 6 a.m. and understood that early check-in was not possible due to room unavailability. Most shops in the Old Quarter open from 8 a.m. onwards, so it was quite difficult for us to wait until 2 p.m. Fortunately, the receptionist informed us that she would try to prioritize housekeeping once a group of guests checked out at 9 a.m. She suggested that we walk around and return at 11 a.m. She also provided us with a map of the Old Quarter and shared many recommendations. By the time we returned, our room was ready. We did not hear any noise from the street, but the soundproofing within the hotel is not very good, as we could hear people talking and laughing outside our room. Nonetheless, we didn’t spend much time in the room, so it didn’t really matter to us. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel because of its great hospitality and friendly staff.

Excellent Stay The rooms are clean, and the staff were very nice and accommodating with our every request. It is also in a great location, as almost all the attractions I wanted to go to were within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was under renovation, with a lot of dust and paint fumes. On the first night, they gave us a room on the 8th floor, but the elevator only went up to the 6th. Since I have issues with my feet, it was very difficult to climb the stairs. The next day, we expressed our dissatisfaction, and they moved us to another hotel, the Maya Central & Spa, for the rest of our stay. The latter was excellent! The staff were very well-intentioned. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I would gladly go back there.

really enjoyed my stay at La Castela Hotel. from the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely helpful and warm. the rooms were spacious and comfortable. the only downside would be the lack of wall plugs, we booked the suite and it only had 1 available wall plug in the room + 1 in the bathroom for the hair dryer. it would be good to bring an extension cord along if you need to charge multiple devices. the free breakfast was really good too. i will definitely come back here again if i'm ever in Hanoi and recommend to stay here to any of my friends. thank you to the La Castela Hotel staff for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Although located in a busy street right in Old Quarter, this a nice and quite boutique hotel with superfriendly staff. I loved it a lot!

The room was too small, personally I don't think it's an ideal accommodation choice.

The location was fantastic, right near Hoan Kiem Lake. However, the hotel is on the 7th floor, and the elevator only goes up to the 6th floor. I wouldn't recommend it if you have luggage.
