Anatole Hotel Hanoi

The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Especially on our first day, when I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and didn't have enough cash to pay the driver, Minh at the hotel found out and lent me the cash to settle the fare. I'm very grateful for that. During my stay, Frankie, Kenny, Phem, and Lucy were all very helpful. I look forward to seeing them again on my next visit.

Arriving in Hanoi at dusk, the bellman carried our luggage and the butler presented us with ***** New Year red envelopes. My wife and kids approved of the hotel I booked, and the candlelit dinner at the rooftop garden restaurant was a particular hit. So, let's raise a toast to a better Year of the Horse – cheers! I booked the Anatole Hotel Hanoi, a luxurious boutique five-star hotel located in the heart of the Old Quarter, specifically in Hang Trong Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, Vietnam. It's about a 3-minute walk to St. Joseph's Cathedral and 6 minutes to Hoan Kiem Lake, with the Hoan Kiem Ward Library also nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. We stayed at this hotel for two days, jogging to Hoan Kiem Lake every morning, going out for food in the evenings, and completing our Hanoi Citywalk during the day.

This hotel in Hanoi has a great design, and the rooftop pool offers fantastic views. The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the cathedral and a mere 6-minute stroll to Hoan Kiem Lake. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Since we were traveling with elderly companions, the Big Bus tour was a top choice, and we were able to book it directly at the front desk. Just a heads-up, though: due to the architectural limitations in Hanoi, I wouldn't recommend choosing an inner-facing room.
