1. The location is excellent, right next to Hoan Kiem Lake, making it very convenient to visit all the famous attractions. 2. The service is a major highlight; it's simply superb. They offer personalized, one-on-one service, and the front desk staff even escorts you to your room. They are very enthusiastic and have excellent English skills. There's also a male staff member who speaks Chinese. 3. The downside is that the rooms are a bit narrower compared to those in China, which seems to be a common characteristic of hotels in Hanoi's Old Quarter. Surprisingly, the two bottles of mineral water in the room were chargeable, which is something they could definitely improve.

The hotel might not look big from the outside, but it's surprisingly spacious and full of character within. Its location is absolutely fantastic, right by Hoan Kiem Lake and not far from St. Joseph's Cathedral. The area around it is packed with street food vendors and massage parlors. The rooms aren't huge, but they are incredibly clean and have a charming, antique feel. The staff were all wonderful. We arrived late at night, and as soon as we pulled up, a bellhop came out to help us with our luggage and offered us refreshing drinks and snacks – so thoughtful! What impressed me most was the breakfast on the top floor; everything was delicious, whether it was the pho, spring rolls, or pastries. When we checked out, our car was a short walk away, and a staff member rushed ahead to help us load our bags into the vehicle. It was a truly perfect stay. Highly recommend it – you won't be disappointed!

In the center of most crowded Old Quarter, 2 second walk from old lake, 1 minute walk to St Joseph Cathedral. Super convenient for getting around old quarter. Friendly staffs with too many restaurants in the neighborhood.

Stands out for its service from the check-in (much needed cold towel and drink on a hot day) to the meals (passionate sharing of Vietnamese delicacies) to the check-out (take home souvenir). The hotel spa is convenient, the restaurant Mia served delicious food, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful when we needed some medical assistance. Great location! Room was a bit dated and in need of touch-ups, and not sure if they have an eco-friendly policy on bedsheets change because mine didn't look like it was changed.

Charming and cozy hotel in a superb location for exploring the Old Quarter. The staff are exceptionally attentive and friendly. Definitely worth staying here again on my next visit

The location is excellent that can access anywhere within 10 minutes on foot. There are a lot of restaurant and shop nearby. The cleanliness and the facilities of the hotel is so so, the standard room is kind of small and the walk-in shower area is small too. The facilities is a bit old. For the service, overall in good, they can remember your name and ask your schedule to provide some recommendation and help. But the room rate are a bit over charge for the room condition, especially during Xmas period.

I must say the services were excellent from the day we’ve arrived until the day we left. Susan a staff from the hotel was really warm and helpful. This is the first time I’ve experience such a great services.

Location is great and as seems to be the case in Viet Nam the service was untouchable. The place is quite old and has a rustic look to it.

I couldn’t express how I impressed by the hospitality from solaria hotel. Thanks for letting us take shower with clean towel before our departure to sapa and really appreciate for the breakfast specially prepared for us. I do not have such good experience and definitely recommend to everyone who wants to travel to Hanoi.

This hotel is truly fantastic! The staff are incredibly warm and always willing to help with any issues. The breakfast is also good. Plus, the location right by Hoan Kiem Lake makes it convenient to get anywhere.
