HOTEL du LAC Hanoi

The service is very good. While they are preparing the hotel for check-in, they serve you a drink and bites. The hotel staff brings you up the room and explain the room structure. The staff are always smiling and willing to help.

We booked mountain view and balcony. Nice view. The hotel staff are very helpful.

Perfect in every way! My stayed was amazing. My families love everything in this hotel we will definitely come back. Please don’t miss the breakfast so yummy have everything you can imagine 😍

We were really disappointed by the quality of the two rooms assigned to us.  We arrived at just before 7 in the morning to check in.  The receptionist actually asked whether we would like different views for the two rooms or the same view.  We said different views but later that day when we came back to get our rooms, we got both rooms without a real window.  The two rooms we were given were 206 and 306.  Both are rooms stuck at the end of the floor.    The so-called window for our rooms looked out into the inside corridor.  We were offered to pay a discounted rate in order to get us a room with window.  Outside 206 there were stacked several folded beds next to the door to our room, as one can see in the attached photo.  Our room 206 window looked straight into these beds next to our door.  The room rate we paid was actually higher than for the room we got at the neighbouring Hotel Solis just a week before.  And that room at Solis was in all respects better than what we got a Hotel du Lac.

Overall, the stay was very good. The room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were complete, and the service was excellent. However, there was some dust on the door, wardrobe, and mirror frame. I hope the hotel can improve its cleaning details. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.

Great staff and location. The room is on par with the price, nothing above that.
