Our 1st Hanoi trip. 1.Lotus Village Hotel excellent location with many street food and shops. 2Just beside is ATM machine, very easy and safe. 3Hotel staff helpful and can speak English.

a great location. we just walked around to find foods and souvenir shop around Hanoi. Also Railway Station is within walking distance from Hotel. recommended for traveller.

A short stay at this hotel and, unfortunately, was a bit disappointed. There was no lift to the room floor, which made carrying my luggage a challenge. Additionally, my room wasn’t ready by the check-in time, which added to the inconvenience. While the room had air conditioning, it still felt a bit warm, and overall, the room didn’t seem well-maintained. I was hoping for a more comfortable experience, but these issues made my stay less enjoyable than anticipated. I hope the hotel addresses these concerns for future guests.

We were moved to a different, cheaper room. Ours was supposedly being renovated. They gave us another room with a balcony, but the view from the balcony (photo) was of the wall of the neighboring hotel. At least it was quiet. Cleaning wasn't done once in three days, and the sheets weren't changed at the end. We were given three 0.25 bottles of water every day.

The facilities are old, the receptionist can't speak Chinese, and only a little English, so we can only communicate with translation software. When I rested at night, I found a toothpick under the bed sheet. I told the front desk, but the waiter just said I would take it out for you. I wonder if they treat European and American tourists the same way? Finally, at my insistence, the bed sheet was replaced. The shower floor drain does not leak water at all. The hotel still needs to improve in terms of service.

I had booked another hotel but was told it was fully booked, so I stayed at this hotel after Trip.com customer service introduced it to me. Trip.com's response was very smooth, and even though I booked this hotel at the last minute, it was well prepared and comfortable. There is a delicious Bun Cha restaurant nearby.

The hotel is very well located in the Old Quarter. It takes 5-10 minutes to get to the Lake of the Returned Sword. It is even closer to Beer Street and Night Market. The price matches the quality. If I am in Hanoi again, I will stay at the Lotus again.
