Monomotapa

The central air conditioning in the room wasn't on; I'm not sure if it's due to the season. Luckily, it wasn't hot in the mornings and evenings, and opening the window slightly while sleeping made the temperature very comfortable. The country's infrastructure definitely needs improvement. Other facilities were quite complete, and the room was very clean. There were a few mosquitoes at night, but the room had mosquito repellent cream, which was somewhat effective. I would have preferred electric mosquito repellent liquid or tablets. The location is good, very close to the business center. Because there's a large park outside the window, it's quiet and not noisy at night. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, and the breakfast has many choices; thumbs up!

The hotel is in a great location, right in the city center, right next to the National Gallery of Zimbabwe. Behind the hotel is a park with beautiful views. It's said to be the second best hotel in the country, second only to the Hilton. The hotel is large, though a bit dated from the outside. The rooms are okay, though you have to stand in the tub to shower, haha. The running water is so loud that you can clearly hear the sound of the shower next door.
