Yiyi Meisu (Harbin Central Street)

Yiyi Homestay is the best I've ever stayed at. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming; they even stored our luggage for free. The location is perfect – just a few steps from Daoli Market (a morning and evening food street), and St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Street aren't far either. There's also the New 100 Mall, an underground shopping area, Yibinzhi Home downstairs, and the KFC next door is a must-try (coming from a Malaysian baby 👶)! If you're still cold, don't be shy to ask for a heater. They even offer to lend money if your WeChat Pay runs out – I'm so grateful for Ruoyi's incredible service! The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable, just as pictured, with city views from the window, including St. Sophia Cathedral, which is stunning at night. You'll never be short of places to eat. Diagonally opposite the Central Street subway 🚇, there are many fruit stalls with fresh selections. Across from the fruit stall, there's an underground eatery – I highly recommend the black rice porridge for only RMB 3, along with other authentic local delicacies at great prices.

The room was spacious, and it's right by Daoli Vegetable Market and St. Sophia Cathedral. There's also a bus stop right outside, and Central Street is just a five-minute walk away, making everything super convenient. The temperature was perfect too. We stayed at this place for our entire trip, didn't even bother moving to another hotel!

The location is excellent, perfect for travel arrangements. It's also super convenient for shopping with clothes stores downstairs. Plus, Sophia Cathedral is right next door, making it really easy to get around and explore everything nearby!

The hotel isn't actually that close to the subway. We came from the West Station, and before getting off, we specifically asked which subway exit was nearest. Customer service told us Exit 3, but we ended up pushing heavy luggage, following navigation for a very, very long time. I even fell on the way and felt so wronged. Only after we got into the room did they send the check-in guide, which stated Exit 1. The room itself was very sparse. The round bed was quite low, and the bathroom was small with no separate wet and dry areas. The floor was incredibly slippery, and they didn't even provide a bath mat. The smoke detector was directly above the bed and would flash a red light occasionally, making me wonder if it was normal or if there was a camera. The night before check-out, while tidying up, I unfortunately found someone else's socks under the bed. The only upsides are its proximity to the church and the Daoli wet market. Going to Central Street still requires a bit of a walk, and taking the subway to the Ice and Snow World is also quite far.
