Country Inn by Radisson, Central Street, Harbin

The hotel is located right on Central Street, within walking distance to Saint Sophia Cathedral Square and the Songhua River Cableway. The front desk staff were very friendly. There were quite a few Russians staying at the hotel, making it feel like Moscow... Harbin is a beautiful city, not only boasting more European-style buildings than Shanghai, but also having Siberian tigers and giant pandas. The only downside is the terrible condition of the roads, full of potholes and uneven surfaces, it's hard to describe. Also, drivers here drive like they're charging into battle.

The location is excellent, not far from the subway station, and Central Street is right downstairs. It's also close to the Red Brick Morning Market. It's clean and quiet, and the breakfast offers a good variety. I highly recommend the stewed pork ribs with sauerkraut and pork belly – it's absolutely delicious and has a local flavor.

Overall, it was a comfortable stay. The room was clean and the bed was very soft. The front desk staff were friendly and responsive to any issues. The location was also convenient, and it offered good value for money. I would consider staying here again on my next visit.

Great location, right on Central Street and close to the Municipal Public Security Bureau. No need for a key card to activate power, it's sensor-controlled. Service was excellent!

The hotel is right next to Central Street, and opening the window to look outside is really nice. However, the bathroom hygiene was a bit problematic; there was an odor and many stains in the sink. The living room space was very large though.

The location is super convenient, right on Central Street. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The bed had just the right firmness. Breakfast was varied and delicious; I ate there for two days and didn't have the same thing twice. For supper, they offered congee (century egg and lean pork congee on the first night, plain congee on the second) along with millet congee and some small side dishes. When you're out exploring during the day, you can grab bottled drinking water from a small fridge at the reception. The in-room teapot, cups, and tray were a nice touch for enjoying tea. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I understand that rooms in prime locations are usually on the smaller side. The real advantage here is the location; you can see the main street early in the morning. If you turn right out of the hotel and walk straight across the overpass, you'll reach St. Sophia Cathedral. Everything you need is right down Central Avenue.

The hotel is right on Central Street, which is super convenient for shopping. They even offer late-night snacks, though I was usually too full after all the shopping to eat them. 😂 Even though my room didn't have a window, there was an air purifier, so there were no unpleasant odors. There's a laundry room with a dryer on the first floor too. The breakfast on the fifth floor was delicious, especially the crispy fried dough sticks. It's a shame I had to leave early on my last day and missed out. 😂

This is my second time visiting Harbin, and also my second time staying at the Country Inn & Suites. The location is truly excellent; Central Street is right outside, and it's a direct route to the Daoli Farmers Market and the riverside. The hotel provides breakfast and late-night snacks, though the variety of late-night snacks is a bit less compared to two years ago. The bedding is still very comfortable, especially the mattress which is just right in terms of firmness. A big thank you to the gentleman at the front desk, who was wearing glasses and a bit on the heavier side; he helped us resolve a room issue, saving us the trouble of moving luggage with seniors and children. Suggestion: Guests have mentioned that the dryer in the laundry room isn't very effective, taking several hours to dry clothes. After hearing this, we only washed our clothes and didn't use the dryer.
