Jirun Hotel (Harbin Central Avenue Branch)

Stayed at this hotel in Harbin in January 2026. The room wasn't huge, but it was definitely sufficient for two people. The bed was surprisingly comfortable – I slept incredibly well every night. There was a small table and a stool in the room, which were just about usable, but it would have been nicer if they were more comfortable. The lighting was very bright (which I personally prefer), and the room was incredibly quiet – you could barely hear a thing. The hotel's location is excellent, close to Metro Line 2, and within walking distance of Central Street, making getting around very convenient. Taxis were also easy to catch. Both the air conditioning and heating worked perfectly, keeping the room warm all day. The room stayed toasty throughout our entire stay – which is especially commendable during a Harbin winter. There was plenty of hot water, thanks to the individual water heater, and the bathroom was actually quite spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. The towels were absorbent, though one did have a faint smoke smell. Overall cleanliness was okay – it could have been better, but nothing majorly problematic. They also helped us with laundry, which was a wonderful surprise, and I really want to thank them for that. All in all, I was very happy with my stay. I slept well, the room was warm, the service was good, and the location was very convenient.

Great location, right across the street from Central Avenue subway station. It's also very close to Central Avenue itself, and there are breakfast places downstairs.

Really great, very good! It's incredibly close to the subway, which is super convenient. The room was exceptionally clean and was tidied up very promptly and efficiently.

Major attractions like the Songhua River and Saint Sophia Cathedral are also within walking distance, which is incredibly tourist-friendly! • Great value for money: I booked a windowless queen room for under 1,000 RMB for 4 nights, which is a fantastic price considering it was peak season in Harbin. Even without a window, the room wasn't stuffy at all, and the heating was excellent – I could comfortably wear just a T-shirt indoors. Jirun Hotel is simply unbeatable in terms of location, price, and service. It's perfect for anyone on a budget who wants to stay in the city center. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Harbin!

The room was warm and spacious enough for luggage. The hot water temperature was good too. It's just a couple of blocks and a few minutes' walk to Central Street, and about an 8-minute walk to the cathedral. It's quiet and offers great value for money.

Clean and hygienic, the landlady was very welcoming and helped us with our luggage, which was great! It's also very close to Central Street, making it convenient for walking or taking the subway.
