Homeinn Selected Hotel (Harbin Central Avenue Sophia Cathedral)

The location of Homeinn Selected Hotel (Harbin Central Avenue Sophia Cathedral) is definitely one of its biggest advantages. It was very convenient for exploring Harbin on foot. St. Sophia Cathedral is just a short walk away, and Harbin Railway Station and the metro station are also within easy walking distance. There are several malls, restaurants and shops nearby, which made it very convenient for meals, shopping and getting around the city. The room was a nice size, clean and comfortable, with enough space to relax after a long day of sightseeing. I had a very pleasant stay and found the hotel comfortable for the few days I spent in Harbin. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise. There was a good selection of food and I enjoyed it very much. It can get quite crowded during the morning peak period, but the breakfast experience was still good and the staff managed the busy period well. Overall, this hotel offers a very good combination of location, comfort and convenience. Being able to walk to many of Harbin's main attractions, shopping areas and transport connections made the stay especially enjoyable. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Harbin.

I booked a smoking room because the location is near the central street and it was also cheaper. Upon entering the hallway on the floor, the cigarette smell was quite noticeable, but inside the room itself, it was much less obvious. However, those sensitive to smoke might still find it uncomfortable. The room was clean, which was sufficient for my needs. The receptionist was kind and accommodating, readily accepting my request for an extended stay. The only real issue was the presence of small stairs at both at the entrance and near the lift area. The ramp provided wasn't very helpful, as it was too steep. This could be challenging for elderly guests, people with disabilities, or anyone carrying large, heavy luggage. Since my own luggage was quite heavy, I found this particularly troublesome. Either than that, there is no other issue. Recommended to stay.
