Homeinn Selected Hotel (Harbin Central Avenue Memorial Flood Control Tower)

Choosing this king-size room for my Harbin trip was absolutely the right decision! The location is superb; it's just a few minutes' walk to Central Street and St. Sophia Cathedral, making it incredibly convenient to get back after an evening stroll. The room itself is clean and cozy, with excellent natural light. The decor style is perfect for couples. The king bed is super soft—once you lie down, you won't want to get up, and there's plenty of space for two. Harbin has had cold temperatures and snow recently, but the heating in the room is fantastic; stepping inside after being frozen outside instantly warms you up, which is a wonderful feeling. The facilities are also excellent, with a convenient laundry room and gym!

The hygiene was really poor. There was old water left in the kettle, probably from a previous guest, and I even found hair in the teacups. The soundproofing is terrible; you can hear every little noise. The sound of the shower draining was also incredibly loud. The room itself is tiny, and what little space there is gets taken up by walls and furniture. Plus, the mattress was almost 20 centimeters larger than the bed frame, which was really odd. Overall, the stay was subpar, but the food was quite good.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to Parkson, Central Street, the riverside, and Hongzhuan Street. The room isn't large but it's clean and tidy. The front desk service was great; they kindly reminded me that the king room facing the street might be a bit noisy, so I promptly switched to a different king room. Overall, everything was good, except for the noise from the room next door, as the soundproofing isn't the best.

The hotel's location is very convenient, making it easy to get around, and it's quite close to the subway station, which is great.

The location is fantastic, very close to Central Street and the Flood Control Memorial Tower, and also near Youyi Palace subway station, which makes getting around super convenient. Although the facilities are a bit old, the cleanliness and service attitude are really good. The heating works great, just make sure to use the hot water either a bit earlier or a bit later in the evening. Overall, it's pretty good.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Superb! The soundproofing in the room was excellent, and the location is truly fantastic – super close to Red Square Market, Central Street, and Songhua River. It's right on your doorstep!

The transportation is very convenient, and it's not far from the popular attractions. For breakfast, they even have 'kill pig dishes' (a traditional Northeast Chinese dish, usually involving pork and blood sausage) and 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), highly recommended.
