Indeed the hostel is very clean and is within walking distance to Harbin Railway Station. There are many eateries around. And the morning street market is also nearby. You have to bring your own towel and toiletries. Toothbrush and toothpaste are provided. The bedsheets are provided but you have to make your own bed.

There is so much more to this hostel than meets the eye! Warm, clean, lots of character. My favorite was the woodstove and hot chocolate on a cold night.

The hostel was very close to the main train station. Walking distance if it isn't too cold or a short Didi/taxi ride. The room was clean, and shower was hot and put out a lot of pressure. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. There was a good view outside and the area was quiet. It was quite noisy at night and we could hear a lot of shouting, yelling and laughing coming from the down stairs common area, however by 10-11pm it was silent. Again a lot of children were skateboarding through the hostel, yelling etc but they were quiet after 10-11pm. There were lots of cheap restaurants and a few convenience stores and supermarkets in very close proximity. We even wrote a message on the wall.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and I chose one that had been featured in a show, but my experience was much better than I expected! My flight was delayed, so I didn't arrive in Harbin until after midnight. I'm so grateful to Sister Lan for getting up in the middle of the night to help me check in and even carry my luggage upstairs. Plus, the hostel's location is excellent and super convenient for getting around by bus. When I come back to Harbin, this will definitely be my top choice again!

Great hostel with lots of character

A bit old but overall good in terms of service and friendliness. Staff are courteous and helpful. Lots of restaurants around this area. Not far from the train station.

The hostel owners are very friendly and helpful, which make the vibes here unique. I wish the rooms were cleaner and the AC wouldn't blow out moldy dust. If you travel solo and are not super picky about cleanliness and like to meet like-minded Chinese people, this is a great place to stay.

The room we stayed in, which had a private bathroom, felt like being back in our dorm days. The happiest time of the day was taking a stroll outside and then coming back to chat and sing with everyone.

You can write anything on the walls of the room and leave your footprints. If you're lucky, you might catch a performance or a game of Werewolf in the evening (I missed them all). At 11 AM, I was freezing on Central Street and couldn't get a taxi, so I missed the Werewolf game. But overall, the atmosphere was good, social, and you'd meet people with similar interests, which was a big plus!

I was extremely satisfied; this was the best hostel I've ever stayed in. It was my first time staying in a hostel in northern China, and the main reason I slept so well was because it cured my sleep problems 💤… Considering the incredibly low price, I felt obligated to give it a good review. The best part was meeting three different roommates who were all very nice and shared their travel experiences… This was a pleasant surprise. The only regret was not being able to participate in any activities! The fact that there were fewer people these past few days (off-season) was also an advantage. The barbecue place recommended by Brother Nie was delicious, but I ordered too much for one person. Be careful when ordering food in Northeast China—the portions are huge!!! Next time I'm in Harbin, I'll definitely stay in a hostel nearby; it's about a 20-minute walk.

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The environment is beautiful, the room is very clean with no smell, and the soundproofing is excellent. I highly recommend it. The location is also very close to the train station, which is very convenient.

Quite good. Cleanliness: Very good. The owner is very nice, and the environment is very welcoming. Transportation is very close to Central Avenue. It's close to the bus station and subway station. It's next to the Red Brick Morning Market.

The room was large and clean. Because it was off-season, I didn't meet any friends, so I had the quad room to myself. I heard the activities here were quite interesting, but I missed the trip due to my schedule. I'll come back next time.

This is a fun hostel; the walls and windows of the room are covered with witty sayings. The bedding is clean and hygienic, so I can get a good night's sleep; the showerhead has a strong and warm water flow, making for a comfortable shower; the toilet and hair dryer are also very functional. It's a hostel I like, and I would definitely stay here again.
