Very nice stay. Meeting friends so just wanted overnight accommodation. The welcome was friendly, the room was very clean and the bed very comfy ( as always at Premier) I had booked breakfast and it was very fresh and cooked well. Lots of choice. The service , meet and greet was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Its self service and you can have as little or as much as you like. Only concern is if you are staying for a period of time the car parking in the Conference Centre is very safe and very convenient but is very expensive and you cant claim back for staying at the Premier.

The usual good experience I've come to expect from Premier Inn. Comfortable, clean, good staff. Breakfast very good.

Absolutely awful experience, never again. We paid extra for a premier room, what a joke. Yes it had a posh chair, and a few nice lamps but no bigger than a normal room. Looks like the king size bed was sacrificed to make the room look bigger as we only had a double. Not good when your partner is 6’ 3. Bath was full of mould, dead flies on the bathroom floor, missing lightbulb from the desk lamp, specs of god knows what on the carpet, cleaner needs retraining. Went down to the bar for a drink. No draught Guinness. I asked for a glass of Prosecco. I was told I could only buy a full bottle. This certainly hadnt been the case on previous visits. When questioned why there was a bottle of Prosecco already open was told someone had made a mistake, company policy was full bottles only. Asked for Gordon’s gin, they’d run out! You get the picture. Seats in the bar were in a terrible state, need dumping. Paid for meal deal, they “forgot “ to mention it would be a reduced menu. As you can see from the photographs even the reduced menu was reduced. Won’t even go in to them trying to charge a surcharge for the wine which was included in the meal deal. Tried to use the vending machine. Couldn’t get anything from it eventually found a staff member who said it was out of order. Partner suggested an out of order notice. She told us we should have known it wasn’t working as there was no light on it! Final straw was breakfast. Same complaints as others have made. No orange juice, waited at least half an hour for the bacon to be replenished. When it was finally replenished it was overcooked and so hard it was inedible. The Chef was having a bad day we were told. Judging by other reviews, he has them very often. The complaints were many from everybody trying to get their breakfast and it appears the staff have had enough as we were asked to write a review in the hope someone at the top would listen. I do wonder if this hotel is being run down purposely. We have stayed here three or four times since it opened and it was so much better. Definitely the worst PI I’ve have ever stayed in and we have stayed in several across the country. There were a couple of plus points, it’s in a great location and the price we paid was good

Breakfast area was dirty, chairs were stained & ripped with foam showing on corners & the seat cloth ripped & worn. Cooked Breakfast itself was poor too, we were very disappointed

Premier Inn is always reliable and consistent. The room was excellent, with a good view, it was quiet and spotlessly clean. It's always an easy choice to stay at a Premier Inn.

Not good, in my many years of Premier Inn stays this has to be the worst room I've ever slept in, room 302. The hotel itself is suffice and the staff are friendly and engaging. Now there are basics...i.e. light bulbs, when one of your main light bulbs is out, that can go at any time, that's a frustration...nothing more. But when around your toilet seat is disgusting! That's another level, that should not happen. I won't labour this too much as I've put the pictures up. I highlighted all these issues to the manager at 17:00! who assured me he'd try and address them, but hey ho nothing has changed! at 00:12!!! So disappointing, you pay £111 for an overnight stay and for that you expect cleanliness to be top of the agenda...in this instance, this particular PI has forgotten this. As I've said at the start I've stayed, by nature of my previous job, in PI's the length and breadth of the UK and this is the worst PI room I've ever stayed in. Now, should that be a reflection on the other rooms? perhaps an area manager should make a fleeting visit! Time to step up PI...🙁

Friendly and helpful staff and great location for exploring the Town. Breakfast service wasn't the best as we had to wait for some of the cooked items to be replenished. Here are some helpful tips. The half dozen 15 min drop-off places are often taken and some all day. So, if you are planning to use the underground car park go there first as the stairs/lift connect to Reception. The car park is NOT owned/operated by Premier Inn so don't expect any discounted charges. It has around 40 spaces, a few are extra wide and when we visited there were plenty of available spaces. However, if there's an exhibition on at the International Centre that could change. IT IS expensive £15 for 24 hours (£25 for 48 hrs) which may explain why it wasn't busier. Although a sign directs guests wishing to walk into Town back down the driveway, ignore it and use the path (see photo) across the front of the large hotel...everyone else does.
