I really enjoyed my most recent stay at The Old Town Guest House, located right in the heart of historic Hastings. Its owner, Tracey, is as welcoming as ever and cooks the best Full English, on the south coast, as well as lighter fare as crepes. The guest house itself is currently being refurbished but is still open for guests. The work did not detract from the enjoyment of my stay. Some have written about the stairs in the building. There are a number of them. I'm in my 70s and can manage them. Just take them one at a time.. Looking for a good value guest house in the centre of Hastings Old Town? You couldn't do better than visit The Old Town Guest House, I have for more than 10 years.

Just returned from a weekend stay here and we were both very happy with our choice. Tracy is very friendly and cooks a great breakfast. Our room was comfortable and warm with everything we needed. The location is perfect for exploring the Old Town of Hastings. We would definitely return to this accommodation.

Location, delicious breakfast with choices, coziness and Tracy's hospitality were among the reasons we gave our approval on this historic B&B. Centrally located, across the street from the Channel. Two amazing bakeries in walking distance. Bars and restaurants nearby. What else do you need?

Tracey may have Been a friendly host but the establishment is very dirty and full of cobwebs breakfast was nice but again room had dust and cobwebs . When we asked for more coffee we were told that 3 packets was a daily allowance that's 1.5 cups a day. Overall not a 5 or 4 star place probably a 1 star if that isn't been generous nothing is

Exactly as portrayed. Perfect Old Town location. Tracy very welcoming. Room 7 was perfect and we welcomed the fridge and tea. Plentiful breakfast and appreciated the GF options.Quaint and bright eating area. The stairs were as clearly advertised by the lodging and reviews. No problem for us, even with large luggage. No issues booking online from Canada with their official site and getting the best price.

It was perfect Tracey is such a lovely warm welcoming host who is also very knowledgeable of all that was going on. We stayed with friends who had been here before and enjoyed their stay so much they wanted to go back and take us with them. Room was clean and comfortable and our breakfasts were fantastic all freshly cooked I highly recommend this place, perfect host, perfect food and perfect location

Tracey the owner goes above and beyond, wonderful host and excellent cook of breakfast. Lovely bright rooms, spacious bathroom, we was in Room 4 where dining room is. Has everything you need, in the old town close to everything. Our 2nd visit and won't be our last, thank you again Tracey and family for lovely stay 😊 xx

Perfect location and very attentive service! Easy to reach as the bus from the railway station stops almost next to it. In the old part of town, but you can’t hear any noise from the restaurants. Nice breakfast options so you don’t end up eating the same thing every day.
