A truly pleasant stay. The welcome was perfectly fine and the place is very nice. It's a really convenient location to fully enjoy the island and its unique atmosphere. A good spot to discover the surroundings with ease!

The room was decent, it's a bit of a walk up to the hotel but they do provide a free shuttle bus service from the ferry terminal, though I didn't take it as I like to explore the island a bit. The hotel is relatively closer to the Mt Misen Ropeway, but sadly it was under maintenence during my stay there. The public bath is the highlight of my stay there, it was amazing and nobody was using it in the time I was there, so I had the entire jacuzzi to myself to relax in. For the shy ones, you are able to check if the bath is occupied from the television in the room before heading there. The staff were very kind and tried their best to communicate with me in English, and even provided recommendations for dinner around the island as I did not opt for the dinner there. A single momiji manju was waiting on the table when I entered the room with a handwritten note from the staff, which was a very nice gesture.

Overall is good, but you’ll have to be decent at English in order to enjoy the hotel experience fully.

Awazing Hotel really close to big Torii Gate and temple. About 3-5 minutes walk from major viewpoints. The staff was welcomming and breakfast (was included) was delicious. This hotel is a bit far away 鳥居 but they provide 溫泉，will stay in next time.

Right up the hill, our room had a view of the Torii, and the onsen is great, with an inside and outside option. They also offered to drive us to and from the ferry, but it’s such a short walk, we didn’t mind. The famous white tanuki is sometimes seen nearby, and around the corner the best anago meshi in town.

Perfect service. They staff would check with each customer what time they would like breakfast and whether they want western or Japanese breakfast. When checking out, they also offered to drive us to the ferry terminal.

People are polite, and room is clear and comfortable, except location is a little bit far from ship shore, all other things are good.

The hosts at this Ryoken are so welcoming, friendly and helpful! They picked us up from the ferry terminal when we arrived and dropped us back there on departure. This was crucial as we would have otherwise struggled with our suitcases up the hills and through the labyrinth of small streets! The location is a little bit away from the central area, but that is what we wanted. It was so peaceful at night, the deer wandered past our the front as we relaxed in the open air footpath. The food was nothing short of excellent. They specialise in seafood dishes so if you have an allergy it would be important to let the hosts know before you arrive. The rooms were simply and elegantly appointed: we had everything we needed. The onsen onsite was fantastic! After a long day of walking we felt very relaxed afterwards. Thank you so much to the hosts for making our stay on Miyajima unforgettable!

Nice.ryokan in Miyajima. The ryokan is located quite far up a hill from the station but they provide free transportation to and from the hotel. Both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were excellent. The service was impeccable. It is located about a five minute walk from Itsukushima shrine . Room was good with two single beds. Onsen has both indoor and outdoor pool. Would highly recommend this place.

The room window faces the Akatori Gate. There is a shuttle service available. The meals are plentiful and delicious. The only downside is that there are no shower facilities in the room. You have to go to a public bathhouse with time restrictions, which means you can't shower after swimming at night.

It was very clean and the staff were very helpful, picking up and dropping off our luggage from the port and hotel, and lending us a flashlight when we went out at night.

It's a bit far from the pier, and the walk is uphill with a sandy beach in between, but you can contact the hotel for a pick-up! The front desk was very attentive, explaining the various facilities and providing daily necessities. Most importantly, there's a hot spring! The common area also has vending machines, microwaves, and more, which is very convenient.
