Miyajima Coral Hotel Reviews

Great location, right across from Miyajima Island. You can get there quickly by ferry, so it's not an issue at all. However, when I booked on the app, it said the hotel was on the island, which was incorrect and something I wasn't aware of. Not the hotel's fault, though. The hotel itself is pretty good: comfortable and pleasant. The rooms look very well-maintained, although you can tell they're a bit old and could use a minor renovation. The bathroom, on the other hand, seems more modern. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, with just those small details.

Honestly, this place was fantastic. Walking distance to train, tram, and ferry stations (saved me time and taxi fare). There is a restaurant in the building, shops around the area, and a lobby for relaxing, eating, or just chitchatting with friends. The staff were also very accommodating and quick to help. My only issue was the wifi connection - it connected on and off, but most of the time there was no connection, so I ended up using my phone's data.

Excellent hotel! You step out and within 50 meters, you're at the ferry pier to the island. If your room includes dinner, you can try the fresh seafood kaiseki. Breakfast is a buffet. My wife and I had a fantastic time.

Excellent service, conveniently located right in front of the ferry terminal for Miyajima. They offer a good variety of amenities, which is a nice touch and adds to the quality of the stay. The Japanese-style breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. 👌

View from 9th floor is amazing

Hotel is just beside the ferry terminal. Room was clean and overall had a pleasant stay. Amenities available at the reception area.

It was great being close to Miyajima. The 1000 yen parking was also a good deal.

This is a great option for those who want to avoid paying the high prices on Miyajima island. The hotel is just a few steps from the ferry terminal, so getting to and from the island (to experience both the high tide and the low tide) is a breeze. It’s also just a few steps from the tram station, and a 2-minute walk to the JR train station. The rooms are spacious which isn’t common for a budget hotel in Japan.

It’s close to the port to ride ferry to Miyajima. The room is quite spacious compared to other hotels we have stayed. You should check in as early as possible then grab a softer pillow at the receptionist area,the default pillow in the room is kind of hard.
