Live a more like a local by staying in our luxurious award winning tropical sanctuary walking distance from the coolest little beach town in Maui. The Ocean View our newest premier studio on property is located on the second floor and enjoys a mesmerizing ocean view from the outer reefs of Spreckelsville to Kahakaloa and beyond. It has a king size bed, full size sofa sleeper, coffee table, dresser, custom tile shower, AC and comfortable wicker chairs. The walls are adorned with colorful original art works from local artists. It’s our brightest, most airy space with 14 ft. ceilings and clerestory windows. It has a 12 ft. sliding glass door that opens up to a beautiful wrap around iron wood lanai. In the winter months you can see kite surfers, wing foilers and big wave tow surfers enjoying the spectacular waves breaking on the outer reefs. Downstairs is a shared outdoor wet bar kitchenette / BBQ / alfresco dinning equipped with a beverage center and mini fridge. Mangolani Inn is a very private gated and walled compound that requires a code to enter. We have plenty of secured off street parking and outdoor spaces to relax. A few doors up the street is a Yoga Shala and organic cafe. Wonderful tropical breezes flow through this large one bedroom, 2 bathroom ground floor end unit. Bright and spacious, all new furniture, and a location that cant be beat, as you dont see any cars/traffic from the apartment. We are on the quiet side of Grand Champions.
Grand Champions is located in the heart of Wailea. This allows you to enjoy so many things without needing to use your car. You can walk to The Shops at Wailea, Maui's premier shopping and dining destination, home to distinct boutiques, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, galleries, and a grocery store. The beach path that is oceanfront throughout Wailea and the world-class beaches and hotels is very popular and a great place to get some exercise. Over the years numerous smaller hotels have been built close to the Grand Champions and now there are three places with new restaurants, bars, unique clothing stores, etc, all within close walking distance from the condo. Grand Champions is located on one of the Wailea Golf courses and adjacent to the Wailea Tennis Club, which abuts one side of our complex (but NOT on the same side that your condo is on so you will not have to endure the whap, whap, of tennis balls!)
Location of Apartment in Grand Champions: This is an end unit in a low density complex, with plantings on 3 sides of the apartment. I really like how this provides a sense of being “out of the way/private”—you will not feel that there are crowds of people around you.
Accessibility to Apartment: Ground floor with the front door very close to the parking stall. This makes coming and going so easy, whether bringing in groceries/luggage or just coming and going daily (carrying beach chairs, ice chests, golf clubs etc).
Ventilation in Apartment: There are windows in every room of the condo, including both bathrooms, allowing for wonderful air circulation and minimizing the need for air conditioning, although it is available if desired.
Now, picture yourself sitting on the living room sofa or private lanai, overlooking the emerald green expanse of the beautiful Wailea Blue Golf Course, and looking beyond to the sunset, West Maui mountains and a bit of the ocean. Even though you are in the center of Wailea, you will neither hear nor see traffic. Because your view is not directly west, you won't have the sunset glaring directly in your eyes—in the living room/dining room, kitchen, or lanai. You are close to the Quiet (Adult) Pool but not close enough to hear while on your lanai; it is peaceful and quiet.

This beautiful OCEAN/POOL view unit is situated in the best location of the complex, where you wake up to a calm morning light from Haleakala and enjoy a sip of your favorite drinks on lanai during the gorgeous sunsets. A communal laundry facility and the pool are only steps away. The room is bright and airy with wall mirrors and extra corner windows that provide excellent ventilation. A wall-mounted AC in the living and a portable AC in the bedroom. You may appreciate ACs when trade wind dies down although the unit usually catches wind throughout the day.
The unit has a fully-equipped kitchen, a well-appointed living /dining area with a convertible Q-size sofa, a King-size bed in the bedroom. The lanai has a dining table with two chairs and one lounge chair. There are 42" TV in the living, 32" in the bedroom, both are Fire Edition with Amazon Prime Video and Netflix for occasional rainy days in Kihei.
This complex is just across from Kamaole II, 200 yrd from the unit, one of the best swimming and snorkeling beaches in the south Maui area. If you are a paddler, this beach provides an excellent entry point. This beach is connected to a breathtaking beach trail that takes you down to Wailea, onto Polo beach (about 3 hours round trip.) There are several good restaurants, a health food store, general stores such as ABC, activities store within a short walking distance.
The complex has a quiet time rule after 10 P.M. for every guest’s comfort. The night is pin-drop quiet until 6 A.M. precisely when island birds start tweeting.

The complex has a quiet time rule after 10 P.M. for every guest’s comfort. The night is pin-drop quiet until 6 A.M. precisely when island birds start tweeting.

Our lovely appointed and fully stocked studio boasts one of the best locations at The Banyan and in Kihei. It has ocean and mountain views from the lanai and is just a 3 minute walk to the famous Kamaoli Beach Park II.
The small kitchenette has everything you need to make breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is stocked with a fridge, toaster/oven, hot plate, microwave and all the dishes, pots/pans and utensils needed for baking and/or cooking.
It sleeps 3 with a cal. king bed and an optional twin air bed. AC, TV, wifi, beach necessities, free calling across the US and Canada are all included.
The Maui Banyan grounds are beautifully landscaped with two pools and BBQ areas, covered parking, tennis court and tropical walking paths.
