I stayed here for 3 nights during my solo trip to Sydney. The location is excellent—it’s only a 10-minute walk to Central Station, making it so easy to get around. The whole place was spotless, and I was really impressed by the staff's attitude—they were so welcoming and helpful! As it’s a hostel, I was surprised by how spacious the beds were; it made my stay very comfortable. Best of all, it's incredibly affordable. It was a wonderful experience overall. Without a doubt, I'll stay here again next time I visit Sydney!

A perfect stay experience, the bedroom environment is very quiet. The front desk provides disposable body wash and shampoo. Considering the prices of other hotels in Sydney, this place offers excellent value for money. My stay at The Pod Sydney was generally positive, especially considering I was traveling solo and staying in a mixed dorm. The Location deserves a perfect 5/5. It is truly exceptional—right in the heart of the city and just steps away from public transport, making it incredibly easy to get to all the main attractions. Cleanliness was also very good (4/5). The common areas and bathrooms were well-maintained and tidy. However, I rated both Service and Facilities as Okay (3/5). While the staff was courteous, the check-in process felt a bit slow, and I didn't feel the communal facilities truly stood out. For instance, the common room felt small for the number of guests. Overall, if a prime location and good cleanliness are your top priorities as a solo traveler, The Pod Sydney is a solid choice. Just manage your expectations regarding the facilities and service efficiency.

Nice spot, walkable to everything and in a good busy area. Staff are friendly and facilities were great and very clean. Enjoyed my stay. Not the most sociable though, I would stay again but don’t expect to really meet people here. More for somewhere nice to sleep.

The best hostel for solo travellers. I was a bit hesitant at first given that the only available room was the mixed dorm. However, the room is clean, quiet, enough space for luggages. I think the best thing I noticed is the cleanliness and the travellers who were checking in because they are all well-mannered. It was a bummer that it was fully booked on my last day on Sydney. I transferred to a different hostel across the street and just massive comparison. Can bring big luggage here, there is a lift!!!

Super clean hostel with great facilities and location, perfect if you want a night to relax. Not really sociable as most people staying there are working. But was perfect for a night stay before the airport as the train station is only a 8 minute walk away
