It’s a very convenient location just walking distance from Central Station MRT(train) Lots of eateries & shop around the hotel, no worries of running out of food or personal items. The hotel is near Chinatown hence you will see a lot of Asian food very easily accessible. Haymarket is a nice place to have nice breakfast & coffee as well. Service is good and front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Just a heads up, they do not provide breakfast & no room service in the hotel. Water is not provided at all. Other than that, my 7 days stay was pleasant.

Bed was great very comfortable, great location. However in regards to cleanliness there was stains on the shower curtain and on certain towels. Also during the night the fire alarm went off, the entire building was evacuated with an alarm there was no sign of anyone that owned the hotel or even a receptionist at the desk we were told we could return to rooms by a fire department. This made me feel uneasy as it seemed just anyone could walk in to the hotel if there was no one downstairs.

This was my second stay here, and it's super convenient – close to the train station, L2 and L3 metro lines, and Chinatown. Housekeeping does a thorough cleaning every three days, plus a light tidy-up daily. The room even has a Nespresso machine! All in all, a very pleasant and comfortable experience.

BEWARE! If you choose to stay at this hotel, do so at your own risk. Stayed here for 5 days, what a waste of money! Paid for a superior room with balcony, the street was in a better condition than the balcony. Above room a/c unit leaking onto balcony. Lockable digital safe did not work, TV colour was half lit. Towels were not replaced daily, had to walk to reception everyday to pick up new set including hand towel and bath mat. Trash bins weren't emptied for more than 48hrs. Any loose change you may leave sitting on table may disappear when you return if housekeeping has been in your room. (that's if they have paid you a visit, which is rare). Management being made aware of this took no further action and simply ignored issue. Management's excuse for not resolving certain issues was that it was a public holiday and all staff were off. In my opinion they should not accept any bookings on public holidays if that's the case and keep hotel closed if they cannot find and hire staff to do basic maintenance. Management being made aware of all issues done nothing to resolve any of them. When approached about providing refund, refused any compensation. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

No hot water on the first night. When I went down to speak with staff, they were unhelpful. First they told me to wait 15 minutes, then they said there wouldn't be hot water until tomorrow. The duvet cover in the room wasn't even put on the duvet, it was just left there – who's supposed to do that?

Situated close to public transport so getting around was not a problem. A supermarket is close by, along with many eateries and shops. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

A hotel's positive reviews might be fake, but negative ones are definitely real. Here are the negative points I personally experienced or witnessed, confirming those I saw online: 1. The facilities are outdated, with peeling paint due to dampness everywhere. 2. The hygiene is truly appalling: chewing gum stains on the floor (with pictures), and long strands of hair on the sofa. 3. The electric kettle was disgustingly dirty (with pictures). 4. The so-called 'king-size bed' was actually two single beds pushed together (with pictures). 5. The male staff member at the front desk (Indian ethnicity, as described by the original reviewer) would immediately change his attitude whenever you had a problem that needed his attention. 6. Towels seemed to be replaced only when they felt like it, and housekeeping was basically random and unreliable. All of the above were comments I saw before my stay, and they turned out to be my true experiences after checking in.
