Five stars! The host was very welcoming. The place was clean and comfortable, with beautiful vegetation in the yard. The location was excellent, making it a great base for visiting Blyde River Canyon and being close to Kruger National Park. We highly recommend this accommodation!

Abbiamo soggiornato tre notti da Tatenda e ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene. La posizione è perfetta per visitare il Kruger National Park, a pochi minuti dal Phabeni Gate, e rappresenta un’ottima base per i safari. La camera era ampia, confortevole e sempre perfettamente pulita. Ogni giorno veniva riordinata con grande cura. Brian è un host davvero gentile e disponibile. Al nostro rientro dai safari ci aspettava sempre per chiederci come fosse andata la giornata e darci consigli utili. Abbiamo anche provato due volte il ristorante consigliato nel guest book e ci siamo trovati molto bene: un’ottima raccomandazione. Gli spazi comuni sono uno dei punti di forza della struttura: un giardino bellissimo, curatissimo e ricco di vegetazione, con diversi angoli dove rilassarsi o mangiare all’aperto, e una cucina ampia e perfettamente attrezzata dove vengono servite le colazioni. Non abbiamo potuto sperimentare la colazione in struttura perché, per tutti e tre i giorni del nostro soggiorno, abbiamo scelto di partire intorno alle 5 del mattino per i safari. Questo però non è stato un problema: Tatenda prepara un’ottima colazione da asporto che abbiamo potuto portare con noi e gustare durante le soste nel Kruger. Una struttura accogliente, ben gestita e in una posizione strategica. La consigliamo assolutamente a chiunque voglia visitare il Kruger National Park. — We stayed at Tatenda for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect for visiting Kruger National Park, just a few minutes from Phabeni Gate, making it an excellent base for safari adventures. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It was serviced every day with great attention to detail. Brian is a truly kind and welcoming host. Every afternoon, when we returned from our safaris, he would ask us how our day had gone and was always happy to offer helpful advice. We also tried the restaurant recommended in the guest book twice, and we enjoyed it very much—it was an excellent recommendation. The common areas are one of the property’s greatest strengths: a beautiful, immaculately maintained garden full of lush vegetation, with several places to relax or enjoy a meal outdoors, and a large, fully equipped kitchen where breakfast is served. We didn’t have the opportunity to experience breakfast at the guesthouse because, on all three mornings of our stay, we chose to leave at around 5:00 a.m. for our safaris. However, this was not a problem at all. Tatenda prepared an excellent takeaway breakfast for us each morning, which we were able to bring along and enjoy during our breaks in Kruger National Park. A welcoming, well-managed guesthouse in a perfect location. We highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Kruger National Park.

A fantastic place to stay. Perfect location for a trip to Kruger. Brian and Gerda were amazing hosts, even ordering dinner for us. We stayed in a beautiful, spacious room. Definitely recommend Tatenda for your stay.

Bryan was an incredibly friendly and helpful host. He assisted us with booking our safaris, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. He even went the extra mile by calling us when we forgot some of our belongings. It’s a wonderful place to stay comfortable, welcoming, and well-managed. Highly recommended!

what a blessing to end up at this paradise.The owner was very helpful and really understands customer care.Brain always was there to assist and his wife (both)accommodating. Room family suite clean and peaceful.surrounding.nature if you need to get in touch with the Creator. I would recommend this place to anyone.will go back if i need to visit the Park again. I forgot something and they even mail it to my destination. Food was good and we make friends for life. Excellent.

The most accommodating and incredible host! Our room was ready for us way before check in time which was ideal after a long drive from Johannesburg with a toddler. Very clean, private, quiet and we immediately felt at home. Very close to the Kruger National Park via the Phabeni gate and Brian made sure we had a breakfast pack each for our days in the Park. This place perfectly met our needs and I can't wait to be back here again!
