The Roost - Garden Studio

I had a wonderful stay at The Roost and definitely look forward to staying there again my next visit to Healdsburg. The room is lovely, comfortable and very clean! The patio is a huge bonus and really pretty. The location can’t be beat! The hosts are very responsive and offer personal touches like local coffee and meeting you during the check-in process. I give a 10/10!

We had a great stay in the Roost! Very clean and comfortable with nice privacy. Hosts made sure we had everything we needed. Location was excellent for strolling downtown. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay at The Roost was awesome! Colin was a very attentive and gracious host. He met us immediately upon our arrival, showed us to The Roost, and went over all the amenities. If we had a question or request he was highly responsive and went that little extra to ensure we were taken care of. We found the bungalow to be very comfortable and we used the outdoor patio often, especially when having our morning coffee. There is no parking on property but street parking close by wasn't hard to find. Overall, we would definitely stay here again when we visit Healdsburg!

It’s unusual for us to review every aspect of a stay as a 5, but this is the case with The Cottage, This is our second stay and will stay there again. The owners make the stay even more special.

Can’t say enough good things about this cottage! Colin was a perfect host, greeted us for check-in and gave us excellent hiking and winery recommendations (do yourself a favor and ask!). The cottage itself is small but as represented in photos, very nicely appointed, full of unique details and quality amenities (including local coffee and biscuits in the kitchenette, chilled water in the fridge). You have privacy yet it’s in an INCREDIBLE location just a block from downtown Healdsburg. We hope to be back!

The host was very responsive and helpful with recommendations in the area.

We enjoyed our stay in the charming Garden Roost! The hosts were welcoming and easy to communicate with. Some suggestions we would offer to further enhance guests experience include: softer bedsheets, a microwave and toaster, and a user-friendly range. The gardener entering the private patio during the morning hour while operating a gas-powered leaf blower was somewhat intrusive. If not for the aforementioned elements, we would have rated the Roost as a 5 star accommodation.

We had a great stay. The host and his brother were amazing. Very responsive, we felt right at home. They even arranged a tasting for us and a group of friends at a local tasting room. Great proximity to everything in downtown healdsburg.

Colin was a great host. He greeted us and made us feel welcome. I’ll definitely be staying here again
