The Grape Leaf Inn

I’m not sure what rooms previous guests were staying in, but our room was awful! The windows had no screens on them, black mold in the bathroom around the ceiling, the shower/tub (so disgusting) the walls, floors and door all scratched. The carpet around he bed was all ripped and worn. The best was the absolute worst bed we have slept in. The stain on the ceiling above the bed was so gross! Don’t try to use the TV. It doesn’t work. Also, they say there is air conditioning but it’s a little window air conditioner. The carpet going upstairs had a huge stain on it. The outdoor patio is also tired and worn. Weather stripping hanging off the windows. So disappointing. The only positive is the breakfast, which was very good! This property needs to be cleaned up and refreshed! Especially at almost $500 per night. We were hugely disappointed.

The location was perfect. A lot was within walking distance. LIZ OZANICH was terrific. The breakfast offerings were awesome.

This place is amazing. PERFECT customer service. We coordinated with them to have 8 guests (our 6 friends) and they gave us our own wing together. We were celebrating birthdays. They provided lovely wines and then had a (paid) sumptuous picnic delivered to our first winery of the day (Matrix) ALL the restaurants they recommended for us were just the thing. THis is our 4th visit to this B&B. Already planning for next year. One of our favorite places ever.

This is a wonderful Inn that is very quaint and comfortable. It’s in a great location and it’s walking distance from downtown Healdsburg. It offers free wine tasting at the Wilson Artisan wineries which is a great bonus. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful inn with wine and cookies in the lobby upon check in. Delicious breakfast every day. Our room was small with slanted ceilings so a little challenging to move around, but Beautiful decor, nice bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grape Leaf Inn and it truly exceeded expectations in every way. Hospitality: From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home. The service strikes that rare balance of attentive without being intrusive—and you can tell they genuinely care about creating a great experience for their guests. Food: Breakfast each morning was a highlight. Thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and beautifully presented, it felt more like dining at a boutique café than a typical inn. Enjoying it in the garden setting made it even better—relaxed, peaceful, and a perfect start to the day. Chef John was the best. Location: You really can’t beat it. The inn is just a short walk to the Healdsburg Plaza, making it incredibly easy to explore shops, restaurants, and tasting rooms without needing to drive. At the same time, it’s tucked away just enough to feel quiet and secluded. Overall, this is exactly what you hope for in a wine country stay—charming, comfortable, and effortlessly enjoyable. We’d absolutely return and would recommend it without hesitation.
