Just returned from this fabulous hotel in a most beautiful location . Warm ,friendly,helpful welcome from Helen in reception and helpful Darren (housing manager ). Fabulous, large, immaculate room , tasty, plentiful meals and great service . Super views from restaurant and terrace. Beautiful ,well kept grounds and friendly groundstaff. Well-stocked bar and lovely staff. Thoroughly recommend and will definitely return soon ( hopefully).

We booked as a very last minute getaway and this place did not disappoint . We booked the dinner bed and breakfast with over night stay . Firstly - the ground and surroundings were beautiful . Helen at reception was really friendly and informative . The room was extremely spacious , beautifully decorated and immaculate . Food was great and the staff were equally as great too ( David , Harry and Sydney ) . Breakfast following morning was brilliant . We will definitely be back

We stayed in the Chesterfield room. Wow is all i can say! If you don't like stairs it's not for you. Walk in to a living area, with up a few stairs to the mezzanine bedroom, and downstairs to the dressing area and the bathroom. All the staff are friendly and very efficient. Only stayed for one night but wish it had been longer. Great place. If we can pick up a stay and play deal we will be back to enjoy the golf too!

We were given a room in the Courtyard area. The 'bedroom' was on 3 levels with the bedroom itself, then a seating area and TV down a small flight of stairs, and the bathroom below that. It was exceptionally designed and finished accommodation in a quiet location in the grounds. The bed was very comfortable. However, we found the pillows too soft and they offered very little support. Also, I was too hot in the night due to the all seasons duvet. We could have kept the air con on all night I suppose! You might want to request a different room if you have any mobility issues too. Breakfast was good, with orders made from the breakfast menu. A small buffet with fresh fruit and pastries might have been a nice addition though. I think there's still room for improvement, but with a few tweaks this could have been a perfect stay. It still gets 5 stars from me for the quality of the accommodation and the location of the hotel.

Exceeded expectations
Set in the grounds of a golf course, the room, part of the Courtyard area, was exceptional. Set on 3 levels, the bedroom was on the top level with wall mounted TV, then a seating area below that and a second TV, and the bathroom below that.
The only negative for us was the heavy quilt, which was too hot, and the soft pillows, offering little support.
Breakfast was excellent. It was ordered from the menu. However, a buffet offering fresh fruit, pastries and cereal would be a useful addition.
We would definitely return here again as a stopover. For anyone on a golfing holiday, it's perfect.

Amazing stay - highly recommend
I booked this last minute as our other booking cancelled and we needed somewhere to stay for a nearby wedding. Wow this is a gorgeous place. Everything from organising an early check in for us to the lovely breakfast the next day was amazing. Our room was like a suite with a lovely super king bed and the bathroom was also massive. For the price you pay it’s such a good deal and we will be returning and might book the golf or evening meal as add ons.
