Very spacious hotel and comfortable bed! However the location is quite an uphill walk even though it is 8-12 minutes, and Helsinki roads are not the smoothest. The bathroom provided a mop which became obvious why later as the area outside the shower will flood as there is a gap between the doors. The first night I wet the bathroom mat entirely which was unpleasant as the floor became wet and cold.

Wonderful hotel we booked on a trip.com deal. For a 1 - 3 night stay the hotel is perfect, very elegant entrance and clean throughout. The beds were comfortable, the washroom was modern, and the room even had a tiny kitchenette. I have to say the room was slightly smaller than I was expecting but for a couple + a toddler on a short stay, it suit us quite comfortably. The breakfast was rich in variety too. Hightly recommend, would stay again! One side note, the hotel pool/sauna was only open until 10AM in the morning, closed during the day, then open again after 5PM, not a deal breaker but it's nice to know ahead of time. Enjoy!

The hotel location is in the city centre of Helsinki. Convenient to go anyplaces. The high floor is nice and clean.

Old Hotel 5 min walk from central station, nothing modern or renovated Standard rooms are small and Bathroom very small breakfast was very ok but standard stuff, nothing special Sauna ist ok, pool wall was very dirty at water level - this needs a ground cleaning ! Reception was friendly and explained some things also even if i didnt ask for that all in one something for a night not more

Good location, walking distance from the central rail station so it's easy to get there by train and air. Very clean and new as well. Very helpful staff, great variety of food for breakfast. Accessible to most of the tourist attractions and shopping districts of the city, and a free sauna and swimming pool for the guests, will definitely book again when I return

Overall really nice and centrally located hotel. Close to the main railway station. All floors have different themes related to Finnish nature (Winter storm, Midsummer, Fairytale forest, Sisu, Tranquility) and the front desk let us choose between a couple of themes. We weren't sure what they were going to be like, but chose Fairytale forest, which was ok. The room was a bit on the small side and with a view to an inner courtyard - however this was to be expected with the room type. The room was really quiet, which was a bonus in the middle of the city! Breakfast was nice, mostly European style with breads etc. Would definitely recommend the hotel for the central location and Finnish style, if you want to experience that.

Hotel location is an important consideration for booking. It is near in the central business district.

The hotel is in a very good location, with a subway station right outside, and walking distance to the central train station and the city center. The facilities are first-class in Europe, and there is an indoor swimming pool. The sauna is a Finnish specialty.

The breakfast was delicious. When we checked in, we were able to choose the room type we wanted. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Everything worked well. The shower soap bottle was blocked in the shower, that was a small inconvenience. The bar had closed early when we came back from the theater trip.

Excellent value for money, highly recommended.

The room smelled strongly of cleaning agent(?). It's a shame we didn't report it right away so we could have changed rooms. The smell was still there in the morning and it was disturbing, although the hotel room, breakfast and service were otherwise good.
