Small room especially toliet only allowed one person to stay inside. Room looked new but mold was found on the side of the wash basin and the exhaust fan. Easy to hurt your legs and get bruised when you got out of bed because there was a wooden slats around the bed. No luggage rack; thus, the luggage could only be opened by placing it on the floor. The privacy at wellness center was poor. The female changing room door could directly go to the wellness centre but No screen between the changing room door and the wellness center. When you were changing your clothes, anyone in the wellness center could look clearly what you are doing in the changing room. The water in the hot tub was not hot enough. It was difficult to contact reception by phone because no one answered the phone at any time.
The functionalist Vaakuna building completed in 1952 for the Olympic Games is situated in the best location in the city at its very core. Its soundproof windows keep city noises out and ensure peaceful dreams. Rich with atmosphere the Restaurant 10.Kerros serves you from breakfast till late in the evening with terraces boasting rooftop panoramas on Vaakunas 10th floor. The hotel is protected by the National Board of Antiquities.

We had booked an 3-Bett-Zimmer, and there was enough room for everyone to sleep there. The room was beautifully furnished and despite the location to the main station it was very quiet. In the evening you can be sitting in the bar over the roofs of Helsinki and there you can also breakfast in the morning. Breakfast buffet offers everyone something and everything was fresh. There are only two small driving chairs, so you have to bring a lot of patience to get up! The staff were also friendly and very helpful. The baggage room is a disaster, however, because it was completely placed at our departure, and you had to climb over bags and bags to get your own baggage.

Good internal structure and facilities. Very good. Instead, it is an expensive hotel.
Very close to Helsinki Central Station.
After taking the train from Helsinki Airport and arriving at Helsinki Central Station, the first huge and handsome building you see when you come out of the main gate is the Sokos Hotel. Sokos Hotel is a hotel that costs approximately 190 euros per night. If you look to the left from the front, there are a number of buildings, one of which is the Grand Hansa Hotel. From the outside, it is an unremarkable hotel. The 'Grand Hansa' hotel is a hotel that costs approximately 350 euros per night.
It's expensive, so it's definitely a good hotel. There are various amenities, including restaurants and shopping, right in front of the hotel. You can buy clothes, shoes, and cosmetics at the Stocmann Department Store right in front.
There is also a large bookstore nearby.

KlausK remains one of my favorite hotels in Helsinki even after trying top rated ones such as St. George and F6. Don't get me wrong, they are nice too, but at Klaus K I know exactly what I get, it's not pretentious, and the location is my favorite. At St George, which I admit is much newer, I paid 350€ for a room that was so small it didn't even have an easy chair, let alone a couch, only an uncomfortable tiny desk chair. I felt like I was paying more for the fancy looks. For comparison the Sky Studio at Klaus K is €150 and Loft 185€. F6 is another one I liked, but the location here is a bit better. One thing to note though - certain rooms (”Desire” and ”Passion”, I think) are outdated and are being refurbished soon. I recommend picking one of the Sky rooms which I really liked.

Citybox has been a fantastic catch, really unexpected! The hotel is easy to reach, close to metro and tram stops, and located in the trendy Kallio neighborhood, but also at walking distance from pretty everywhere tourists might desire to go. There's self-checking, but someone is presiding the office 24/7 - which might be handy. There's no breakfast, but there's an area equipped with fridge, toaster, tableware, sink that you can use. In the lobby, you can also find table tennis and co-working areas. The room was small, but sufficient. Clean. There's no daily room tidy-up. The price is definitely the added value. Very good price-quality ratio, I would have never expected. I would definitely stay at Citybox again, strongly recommended.
Soak up sea breezes at the waterfront Hilton Helsinki Strand hotel, just a 10-minute walk from the city's shops and businesses. Relax at the top floor sauna, pool and gym. Take a stroll along the bay.
Business is easy at the hotel, with eight meeting rooms for 10-280 guests, Executive Lounge and complimentary wireless internet access in public spaces and all hotel rooms. Enjoy drinks in the Executive Lounge before dinner in the elegant glass atrium overlooking the sea.
Sample Finnish specialties at the Hilton Helsinki Strand hotel's elegant Restaurant BRO or lunch overlooking the water. Shop at Aleksanterinkatu or catch a ferry to Helsinki Zoo.

The hotel is in a good location, two stops from the central train station, with a water view. The hotel is an old hotel but the room has been newly renovated, which is quite satisfactory. The bathroom has a bathtub and the breakfast is rich. The air conditioning in the room cannot be adjusted, and the air conditioning is a bit cold at night

The location was hard to find.
I managed to find it by asking someone.
I didn't know the password to get in, so it took a while to get in.
The room was small and couldn't be opened from inside the room.
Also, the microwave in room 2 was broken and couldn't be used.
We were able to use it in the alternative room.
There was a fridge, so we could drink cold beer.
We were on the 11th floor, so the view was great.
The electricity was type C.
There was no hair dryer.
The number 7 tram was within walking distance, so the boat to Tallinn was easily accessible.
Only a 3 minute walk from the airport, the contemporary Hilton Helsinki Airport hotel can be reached directly from the terminal via a covered walkway. Travelling is made easier with self-service airline check-in and flight information available at the Lobby.

GGuest UserGreat location and excellent breakfast with so much choice. Our room was very clean with a great shower and ammenities. The rooms and common areas are warm and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and it was easy to leave luggage after we checked out. Would definitely recommend!
GGuest UserThe team is super friendly & warm - always smiling & assisting with questions, directions & suggestions. Clean Rooms With 100% noise cutting windows. We stayed in the basic room facing the road & slept blissfully all nights. The Marski has the best best breakfast spread I have ever seen in a hotel in all my 27 years of travel. They have options for every kind of guest. It's unbelievably thoughtful Though we didn't go to the bar, it was packed most evenings with DJ music playing & gave the hotel a lively atmosphere
HheidiOverall, my recent stay with Bob W was disappointing.
I booked the 4-person penthouse room primarily for the use of the sauna on my last day of the trip.
Firstly, pin code provided was only valid for door access to the stairs, not door to the elevator side at night. This became a significant inconvenience, especially for a female traveler like myself who arrived at night after a tiring flight. Having to carry a 20kg luggage and a 10kg carry-on up five flights of stairs was both physically demanding and frustrating. Clear arrangements on how to access the elevator at night should have been considered for guest.
Secondly, check-in process was not clearly communicated, causing panic upon arrival. Unfortunately, I had to seek help from customer service on a third-party booking site and reach out via email to obtain a check-in link, which added unnecessary stress and confusion.
Furthermore, instruction for turning on the sauna were unclear, and I was unable to enjoy it until the next morning at 8am, just few hours before my checkout time. I had specifically chosen the penthouse room with the sauna for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. due to the lack of clear instructions, and had to seek assistance to figure out how to operate it properly, which ate into the limited time I had available to enjoy the amenity.
In conclusion, my stay with Bob W fell short of my expectations. The limited time to enjoy the amenities, issues during the check-in process and accessing the elevator, made for a less than satisfactory experience. I hope that Bob W seriously takes feedback into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more enjoyable stay for travelers in the future. Thank you
DdjkdgThis is a great addition to the Helsinki Scandic range, converting an old building into a stunning new hotel. It is pretty big (over 300 rooms) but there is enough space for everything to happen. Rooms are lovely and well designed. Rooms sizes and shapes vary because of the building conversion. Some have baths. The superior rooms are all gorgeous and face the church square. Everything in the room worked well and internal noise insulation was excellent. Good air-con and free wi-fi. Blackout curtains were efficient and lighting very well managed. Breakfast is in a vast but multi-roomed area with some seating outside in the atrium. Nothing was missing from the buffet and despite the number of guests it all worked well with plenty of seating. The location of the hotel is also good, very central, 5 minutes’ walk from the Kamppi shopping centre (and metro) and 3 minutes’ walk from tram stops.
凯凯The hotel is very good. There is a tram at the door. The room is a prison renovation. Many famous prisoners are being held. The hotel also sells nearby goods! Focus! Must eat breakfast. Breakfast is a mess.
GGuest UserTop if you are looking for a cheap place to stay. Even their 16 people shared rooms are furnitured in a very intelligent way so they provide privacy. I was really scared of sleeping in one room with 15 other people. After my trip there, i was not anymore. Also their shared area is really comfy and has everything you need including sofas, multiple TVs and a REALLY big kitchen. It is also very clean and the staff is super friendly.
KKK ~Overall really nice and centrally located hotel. Close to the main railway station. All floors have different themes related to Finnish nature (Winter storm, Midsummer, Fairytale forest, Sisu, Tranquility) and the front desk let us choose between a couple of themes. We weren't sure what they were going to be like, but chose Fairytale forest, which was ok.
The room was a bit on the small side and with a view to an inner courtyard - however this was to be expected with the room type. The room was really quiet, which was a bonus in the middle of the city! Breakfast was nice, mostly European style with breads etc. Would definitely recommend the hotel for the central location and Finnish style, if you want to experience that.
GGuest UserThe location is very good, the port can be reached on foot. The hotel also belongs to a business district. The hotel is also very new. The room has a pole for drying clothes, which is very important. The room was hygienic. When I checked in, I found that there was blood on the wall and no one was clean. The washstand in the bathroom is a bit low. The hotel can walk to the old town, and it is acceptable for people who travel not far. The room size is quite large and the price is cheap. Overall it is recommended to stay.
GGuest UserWelcome to your build-your-own gulag experience ! This hostel was just a joke. I arrived at 11 pm , layover of 12 hours, so I was too cheap for the Hilton . I thought, well sounds good, hotel with your own bed, bathrooms shared ,how bad could it be. It was the typical grey and icy Finland experience everyone imagines .Well, I marched over to the hostel from the airport, at night with my google maps, so somehow I found it. I wouldn’t advise any females doing this at that time. It’s practically walking out of the arrival hall, past the finavia pilot building (right side) then straight ahead, left continue past the parking lot and the traffic light left again and after the bridge 200 meters right. The code they sent me reliably worked but the room was a joke. There is no reception, nobody to help in case something goes wrong. It didn’t, fortunately. Back to the room : Maybe 10m2. 1 coffee machine and a hot water kettle but not even 1 miserable pack of instant coffee for 85$? Not even the bed was made, you arrive and make it. Worse than a gulag. Same atmosphere by the way. Ice cold outside. The showers were dirty, the bathroom clean, I wouldn’t ever come back. I guess sleeping at the airport is still more fun than on this 80 cm x 180 cm bed. Not kidding. I liked the view onto trees and ice, something new for me, being 300 days a year at tropical beaches …
