"Truly excellent experience. This hotel is right in the centre of Henley on Thames, and my room had a view of the river (albeit through a small and high up window). It has obviously been recently kitted out with a huge amount of care and attention. I had a single room, but it was comfortable and didn't feel at all cramped. It had the period charm but the modern conveniences you'd expect. I'd happily stay there again. The only slightly less than exceptional part of the stay was the breakfasts. These were fine, but not as great as the rest of the experience. Overall not a huge minus, but I might pop to one of Henley's numerous other breakfast options next time."

"Wonderful location and great staff who were extremely welcoming and helpful very pretty pub inside We stayed in one of their cottages opposite very cute but a little tired inside, there is one futon sofa to sit on so if more than 2 a little difficult. The bedding is of excellent quality The kitchen needs checking utensils and cups etc. It’s end of the season so hopefully after a refresh it will be back on track. That said it met our needs for one night. Would we return to stay - I’m not sure maybe when it’s had a refresh - can’t fault the pub - such a lovely place. "
