This estate in the “Oertzetal” can look back on an eventful history in Oldendorf. In addition to agriculture, which had been practiced since the year 1438, the parlor also served as a tavern for coachmen and raftsmen who brought their goods from Hermannsburg to Hanover. The traditional estate in the Oertzetal offers its guests a unique ambience. This family-run, country-style house in the small district of Oldendorf creates an atmospheric setting for culinary evenings in the restaurant as a guest or as a holidaymaker in the hotel. We had booked at the hotel at the beginning of our trip, and we also booked there for another stay on our return trip, especially because it was more than pleasant for us to stay there, the super friendly welcome at the reception, the super friendly staff, and not to forget the super delicious kitchen from the restaurant, which we were able to enjoy several times, highly recommended for us as a hotel/restaurant, we would like to come back to enjoy the hospitality even more, as described above, nothing to dislike, nice rooms, private parking, etc. Just perfect.

Wir waren zu zweit für 1 Woche im August im Gutshof zu Gast und waren sehr zufrieden. Man muss frühzeitig buchen, da der Andrang zu den Hauptreisezeiten doch recht groß ist. Das Zimmer hatte Sat-TV, einen kleinen Kühlschrank und sowie ein kleines Duschbad, was für uns ausreichend war. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und am Gutshof gibt es einen recht großen Garten mit Zugang zur Oertze, welches ein Bach ist. Im Sommer findet die Bewirtung auch in diesem Garten statt. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und wir haben die Speisekarte jeden Abend durchprobiert. Damit war für uns der Maßstab gesetzt und wir haben jeden Abend dort gegessen. Die Preise sind im üblichen Rahmen, die Auswahl ist nicht ganz so groß aber dafür bekommt man sehr gute Qualität. Man kann auch dort nur Essen aber man muss unbedingt vorher reservieren, da die Plätze begrenzt sind. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen und wir wir kommen gerne wieder.

We moesten hier in de buurt zijn voor het werk, dus een hotel gezocht. Dit zag er leuk uit en had een goede score in de reviews. Het is een karakteristiek oud pand in een rustig dorpje. 's Avonds is het er heerlijk stil. Eenmaal op de gang richting de kamers bleek al dat het interieur gedateerd is. Ik had een eenpersoons kamer. Deze was heel basic. Meteen viel op dat de deurklink naar de badkamer los zat. Helaas kraakte het bed bij elke beweging en het kussen werd plat op het moment dat mijn hoofd het raakte. Opgestaan met nekpijn. Toen ik wilde douchen, zag ik dat het zeepje van de vorige logé nog bij de douche lag en dat er nog haren in het putje waren achtergebleven. Tijdens het douchen bleek het water niet goed weg te lopen. Conclusie; de douche was niet schoon gemaakt. Het is altijd een verrassing wat je aantreft als je zo'n hotel in zo'n klein plaatsje boekt, dat vind ik ook leuk. Volgende keer toch maar weer een ander hotel proberen.

Wir waren 15 Personen eines Skatclubs und brachten viele unterschiedliche Wünsche mit. Alle Wünsche wurden übererfüllt: Am nächsten Tag fragten die Mitarbeiter nochmals nach, ob die Lösung gut genug war. Mitarbeiterinnen im Service merkten sich innerhalb von einer Stunde unsere Zimmernummern und nannten sie von sich aus. Sehr früh morgens schon bekam man unten einen Kaffee. Herrliche Gartenanlge mit alten Bäumen und einem Teich. Erholsam! Leise. Ich komme gern wieder. Johanna Busmann
