Wow! Really enjoyed our stay at the Potting shed. The owners are friendly and very helpfull with tips / advice for dinner, shops and that sort of things. The accommodation looks also very nice. And the breakfast is delicious with fresh made pancakes or eggs and fresh fruit. Dave and Annamarie spend time to make it feel like home. When you are in Hermanus, you can have a good stay at The Potting Shed. Near the New Harbour where the boot tours for whalespotting are en also near the Old Harbour where are lovely and tasty restaurants.

Very cosy and beautifully renovated guesthouse. Dave welcomes you and quickly makes you feel at home. The guesthouse is well situated not far from the seaside and the restaurants. We got our room upgraded to ‘the studio’ which was spacious, clean and had a good bed. The exceptionally tall best mind their heads because it has a slanted roof. Breakfast is delicious, especially the fresh pancakes are a must. We can wholeheartedly recommend The Potting Shed.

We stayed at The Potting Shed in Hermanus and were welcomed so warmly by Annemarie and Dave. It's a B&B with wonderful facilities where you are truly pampered. Dave and Annemarie gave us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area, which made our stay even better. We can't recommend it enough!

Stayed at the potting shed for a couple of weeks when visiting family. The location is excellent, you can get around Hermanus very easily, and driving routes are quick for the garden route, You can also be in Cape Town in just over an hour. The accommodation is really modern, clean and refreshing. The rooms feel more like you’re staying in a boutique hotel than a B&B Breakfast was superb quality, and service is prompt and attentive. I would not hesitate in staying again. Wonderful place! The swimming pool is also a great place for a afternoon dip 😁

The Potting Shed was amazing! My friends and I stayed there for around 3 days and everything was perfect! The owners were so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend The Potting Shed!

The owners are lovely people who helped us a lot! When we arrived they arranged a whale watching tour and cage diving. She adviced us not to go to Mosselbaai and therefor we diceded to stay another night. She arranged a room for us. Breakfast was very lovely with home made pancakes, freshly baked bread and muffins. The room was cosy, nice and clean.
