Escape Inn Hershey

This was our second time here, and we loved it even more than the first. You cannot beat the proce for what you get. No frills, but friendly staff and a clean, nice room. It is very close to down town Hershey and the park. We will continue to stay jere when we spend the night up in Hershey ❤️

Clean room I showed up after hours and staff was kind enough to put my key in a lock box and texted me detailed instructions on how to retrieve.

It is ok for a quick in and out. Felt a little unsafe being there as a woman and being alone. Would not want to stay here for vacation. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

We had a spill on the floor and when we wiped it up, the cloths were black. That is how dirty the floor was. Sheets and beds were clean and the bed was comfortable. There was no coffee pot available in our room.

We always have a wonderful experience here. The place is a great find especially for the price! One of the most affordable in the area and very clean and well kept. The staff are always so nice. We have met one gentleman that we believe to be the owner, a lovely woman who was also working there 2 years ago when we stayed and another gentleman who may have been with the housekeeping crew. They were all so sweet and pleasant and welcoming. The charisma of the people you meet there is enough to make you want to be there in itself. The tv is a basic tv, no smart tv capabilities but that was not a big deal since we certainly weren’t there to spend our time sitting at the hotel watching tv. There is a microwave and mini fridge which is definitely a plus since we have stayed at fancier (and therefore more expensive) hotels that didn’t have a microwave in the room. The bathrooms are small but also more convenient when multiple people are sharing the room since there is a separate vanity area so that someone can be using that area while someone else is showering. The beds could be comfier but they served their purpose and they provided enough pillows. It is also in walking distance of some eating/drinking establishments. Overall, I’d like to be clear that my opinions stated in this review are just to be informative. I am certainly not complaining and I would absolutely recommend staying here. Well worth the cost and nice to feel welcome every time you see the wonderful staff 😊

Clean room, free covered parking, close to all restaurants and attractions. Would give another star except for thin towels and shampoo packets that require a scissor to open.

The room did not have adequate heating, it was still cold with the heat set at 84. I tried to take a shower and there was no water to the shower. I went down to tell someone and no one was there at the desk. I called and spoke to a man that said even though the sign that was posted said they were sold out, they could move my room. I stated I feared that the same thing would happen and I would have to wait until the housekeeper came to let me in. I found another hotel for the next two nights and left.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable and front desk was helpful. The room was very hot when I first checked in. The door also did not fully latch so the deadbolt needed to be used to keep the door from being able to be easily pushed open without needing a key card. This is fine when I’m in the room and can use the deadbolt, but impossible to guarantee once I leave the room. This isn’t a bad value for what you pay, but just be aware of what you are getting.
